I am not sure the exact meaning of MBH but I do know that it refers to 1000 BTU's per Hour.
BTU stands for British Thermal Unit and is defined as the amount of heat to raise one pound of water (or a specific substance) one degree Fahrenheit (or more specifically from 59.5F to 60.5F).
It is used quite frequently in heating and air-conditioning where sometimes it is translated as a ton of cooling.
A ton of cooling is equal to 12,000btuh or 12MBH. It goes back to the early days when a ton of ice was used to cool items.

This is a source of confusion for many engineers. In typical english units, the single M means 1,000 while a MM means 1,000,000. This is confused by the use of the SI prefix M (mega, 1,000,000) being used with the english unit for energy, Btu.
Typically, when you see MBH, it means 1,000 Btu per hour.
