i am thinking to opt for science with bio but my friends say that i should choose maths as it is very necessary . is bio tough in class eleventh?

It's a question in my Math textbook.I'm practising the questions inside for revision, and my brain just isn't working...I've been doing Math questions for a few hours already...
Could someone show me the steps so I can understand the way to solve it?
