Many times I experience what is known as precognition. I'm a realist and need to 'verify' prior to reaching a conclusion. My expertise and technical 'know how' is limited. But, my creative inventions-solutions almost always appear on discovery. I'm an experienced language instructor and creative writer. Sometimes, geometrical shapes and inventive ways to utilize pre-existing technologies flash into my mind. How do I maximize my gift?

Work on a team.
Be a science or technical writer (so you can "pull your weight") and get to know the technical folks, then when you have a rapport, you can begin to share your ideas.
Also, write down as much about your ideas as possible. You can share them more easily, and you won't fool yourself into thinking you've done more than you really have.
