I pay $20 a day for a full time sitter (at her house), she is great with kids, does a lot with my child (outside, park, with her to run errands and sometimes to school events for her kids), and even though I pack a lunch and snacks, of course my child ends up eating some of their food anyway. I feel $20 is hardly enough for all of this, what do you think about raising it to $25 a day? Too much, or perfect? (Local daycare charges $32 a day, all food provided, for 2 year old.)

My little boy and girl are bad kids. I want to drop them off in the ghetto so they can be raised by capable ghetto parents who will love them for who they are. Should a drop them off in a housing project or a crack den? I can't wait to not have to wake up to little brats screaming their heads off. They belong with people who will raise them right.

My daughter was born 3 months early. She has had lots of health problems in the past, but most have smoothed themselves out. I only have the one child so I don't know much about kids. Is it normal for a two year old not to have good balance. always tripping over things and running into things. It seems like she doesn't pay attention to where she's going or something. I've had her eyes checked, she went to physical therapy until she turned two which did nothing that I didn't do at home, but the whole balnce thing is throwing me off. I know i may sound a little stupid, but does anyone else have problems with a two year old who's always off balance.

...with his 6th ear infection (both ears every time might I add) and the drs are starting to consider doing the tubes in his ears but he has already had one surgery at nine months to drop an undescended testicle and I dont want to see him have to go thru another surgery even though i know its probably for the better. Have any of you had to make this decision of whether to opt for the tubes or not? Please help

The one that I am thinking about has a speed limiter, that I can adjust down to really slow, a kill switch that'll stop it if he falls off, and also has a remote control kill switch that I can use to stop it if he gets out of control.

With those cheap plastic battery powered ones being so expensive, I would really like to get him something that he can grow into, and this is about the same price. I plan on supervising him closely while he is learning/practicing, on our grass as we have a large yard for him to learn in where he couldn't really get hurt. Wife thinks he's too young, and maybe he is, but this would really be something that he can grow into.

I've tried rewards, like candy. I've tried her own little singing toilet, and the big toilet. We've tried sticker charts, where she gets to put a sticker on the board when she goes in the toilet. All with no success! She can't attend preschool until she's potty trained, besides this problem she is a normal healthy toddler! Need help!

When he's with me and my mom we constantly tell him to wipe his mouth but my mom has gotten to the point where she's just mean about it. She won't let him sit on her couch and makes him feel bad about it. What do I do to help him stop?

Taking the children to the beach or crowded parks, can be a nightmare, if you loose sight of them, apart from dressing them in FLORESCENT clothing, Has any one got any good ideas?

My daughter is 18 months old, and she has been showing big signs that she is ready to train. She leaves the room to make a BM or even pee, she takes off her diaper as soon as she uses it, she wakes up dry, ect. But she still doesnt talk. She understands what we say just fine, and she babbles pretty sharply, like she knows what she WANTS to say, she just doesnt talk.

How would you approach training for this situation? What age did you train your girls?

My son is 4 1/2 years old. His father and I are seperated. He was sleeping in his room for awhile but he went to visit his father and when he came back he wouldn't sleep in his room. I have also tried letting him fall asleep in my bed and then moving him but he always ends up back in my bed.

My son has had a tiny willy since birth. He had a bit of trouble with a tight foreskin but this is now much better. He is quite talll for his age, but i noticed that my friends and sisters boys all had bigger willies than him. Even my sisters baby has a willy the same size and he's not even 1 yet!! The doctor says just to wait as he hasn't finished growing yet, but it hasn't even really started to grow in the first place. Even the health visitor admitted it was unusual for it to be so small at this age but said that it was the doctors decision whether or not anything can be done. She has asked on a couple of occasions whether there could be an underlying problem, but he is reluctant to investigate unless it is affecting his bladder control.

Its really hard to toilet train him as he wants to stand up and wee but can't hold it properly. He gets really frustrated and i feel so sorry for him as i know how cruel other children can be when he goes to school. Has anyone else had this??

My 3 yearold has started acting really strange for him. He is kicking, screaming, telling me he doesnt like me. He hits on his lil brother all the time. He was never like this untill about 2-3 weeks ago. I always try to use a calm voice with him, but that doesnt always happen. I do spank him, but I dont thank that could have ne thing to do with it. I mean, I dont spank him out of anger or ne thing. Could there be something going on with him. We r a very loving family.

Could he be just missing his daddy, because he has been working alot lately. He has also just resently lost his babysitter that he was close to. She had to find other employment so she could make more money.

What can I do to help him threw this bump? And what can I do to help him controll his angery out burst?
