and how far gone were you/them, when they finally got a positive. Which brand did you use.

ANd is it normal to get negatives after a week after you missed your period??

My OBGYN has me lay down after dinner every night and make sure the baby makes 10 movements within two hours. Normally my baby does it within 20 minutes.

Anyone elses doctor having them do this? Is it necessary? What does it accomplish??

don't they teach sexual education in school anymore? I notice ALOT of question by girls 13-18 asking questions about getting pregnant from having "dry" sex or from their boyfriends touching them in their private areas after touching themselves? And various other questions like this...are the kids just not paying attention in class? Or are the materials taught inadequate? I don't understand why teenagers make the decision to engage in something as serious and life changing as sexual intercourse without the basic knowledge of how babies are conceived and diseases are contracted? Any thoughts?

I got my period back after nursing on September 22. It last long then it usely does, ( six days) so will this mean I will now have a period every month like I use too or will it be messed up for a while. If it is suppose to be back the way it was that would mean I'm late right?

my mother said that she started this around now with both children--my breasts are very full and swollen but no leaking yet--when does this usually happen ---will it be so leaky that i will need nursing pads??--or just very small amounts---this is my first baby if you couldnt tell

dark and i didnt notice at first but there is a very very faint line that makes it a plus but you can barely tell is that line always there or is that supposed to be postive?

so what is going on? my doc gave me a pregnancy test (not a blood one) yesterday and it was negative but he said i cannot start the birthcontrol until i get my period incase i am pregnant?!?!

I just found out that I'm pregnant (I'm about three weeks along). I've always done some type of excercises, but during the last 2 years I've fallen in love with spinning. Currently I started doing x-bike, which is a similar excersice to spinning, but including upper body work out with the bike handles. Anyway, I want to continue to excercise, since I want to bounce back to my pre-baby body quickly, and wish to know if x-bike or spinning are safe to do during the pregnancy.

but....im due for an elective c-section due to problems in previous pregnancy and current suffering of spd, i didnt go into labour naturally and my waters were broken for me...so here goes i live 35 mins from my hospital,if my waters break at home and i get to the hospital and baby is 10 cm dilated will i go on to have a natural birth (which i dont mind not fussy lol) does this mean the baby would have gone too far for c-section? (how far dilated is too far for c-section) i not worried just curious really,just you hear of so many women having babies so quick,thanks in advance

im 7 weeks prego and 5 days and this moring i woke up and i was spoting and i have a pinching pain on my right side i stoped spoting but im still a little worried is this normal? my Dr is not in his office today so i cant go see him.

I was wondering if there were any safe ways to induce yourself at 34 weeks? I am 33 weeks and they are exspecting me to have the baby or atleast go in to labor around 34-36 weeks as i did with my first to who were VERY HEALTHY! they were both in a healthy weight range and had no complications except a small case of jaundice. the doctor said the baby is about 5.6 pounds and would be ok if i delivered but wanted me to hold out as long as i could, but i am so uncomfortable and in so much pain ( sore ribs from being kicked, pelvic pressure, contractions, vaginal pain like i am dialating or thinning out and cramps in my legs). just wondering if anyone knows of ways to help bring on labor. I used castor oil with #2 and it worked well just want other suggestions. i want to hold out untill about 35 weeks so i am not doing this now.

my sister is 11 wks pregnant...her pregnancy has been doing fine.today was her first ultrasound,her doctor said something about no heartbeat and the hasnt grown since it was 7 wks,its her first time with this doctor,and hes a little short w/her,so he didnt explain very clearly...so i suggested going to er,but does anybody body know why this happens w/out miscarring or w/out any physical signs,or has anyone heard of this before?

my boobs started to leak last night my top was soaking around my nipple area. im 24 wks, and only 1 boob was leaking is this normal?also ive had no more today??

So working is getting to me right now, It's starting to get really busy with bookings next year and it is very stressful! In fact, the girl that worked in this position before me quit right around this time because of the stress! I already gave my notice for December 1st, one month before my due date but I just don't feel I have the energy to do this anymore! I feel nausious every day I come into work and my back hurts and I just feel stressed! The only way I see a way out of this is for my doctor to write me a note. Should I just tell him about the stress I am under and will he write me a note to quit working? I'm not sure how that works! I live in canada so I get a year leave with unemployment pay so i'm not worried about taking the extra month off. I just can't take it anymore! Does anyone have any advice that went though this?! Thank you!

the past 2 days ive had really bad headache..i dont know what i can do to make it go away. the only thing that usually helps is exedren..but since im prego, i cant take that. tylenol doesnt help, taking a nap seems to make it worse. please help.

SO, I WENT TO THE DOCTOR TWO DAYS AGO AND I WAS 15 WEEKS, THEY DID AN ULTRASOUND AND THE BABY WAS FINE. THIS IS WHY I'M SCARED. I ATE A STEAK FOR LUNCH AND ASKED FOR MEDIUM WELL AND THINK I GOT MEDIUM. WILL IT HURT MY BABY ? I'M SO SCARED! I WILL ONLY EAT WELL DONE FROM NOW ON BUT WILL THIS ONCE HURT ME ? Hey guys, i did 3 pharmacy tests and they were all positive, so, i went to the doctor, he did 2 more tests and were negative. He saw my pharmacy tests and said its maybe too early and thats why his tests were negatives. And he said back in 2 weeks. Back at home I did 2 more pharmacy tests and they were positive again. Now were confused. My period is late and I have the breasts bigger, my back is soar, sometimes during the day i feel like nausea and im not hungry, but have wishes for things i didnt liked.. (as pumpkin pie)... Helps
