What does your doctor say?

You'll probaby be getting a stress test soon to make sure there is enough amniotic fluid, and that everything is still okay. If they find the baby is under any stress, they'll want to induce you.

If everything is fine, then a potential induction date is a topic for you and your doc to discuss. Most docs out there won't let you go over a week or two.

I would try naturally inducing first. Now's the time to take long walks and clean the best you can...keep yourself busy and that should set you off into labor. I know when I was pregnant with my first the doctor told me to do alot of walking and to keep myself very active.

my doctor did an ultrasound to see how the baby was and decided to induce me a day before my due date because the amniotic fluid was getting low. plus my cervix wasn't softening or dilating on its own at all so.. your doctor should be discussing with you your options by now!

Wait patiently. Your baby likes it's cozy nest and isn't ready to leave it yet.
