Pregnancy - October 2007

For a few days, off and on, I doubled up on my bc pills. I missed a couple of my sugar pills too. I had a 3 day period that was kind of light, only real bleeding the middle day. I did have unprotected sex with my boyfriend. Is there a chance I could of gotten pregnant?

Hi there me again thought i was five and half weeks pregnant after my m/c two months before that but then i got a period into the first day i thought i was six weeks??? all five tests were a positive so whats happening? could there still e hormones in my blood after three months????

My sister is having her first baby. she is scheduled to go into the hospital at 7:00 tonight and she will be induced. She Is NOT having a c-section. One week ago she was 4cm dialated and 50%thinned out. How long do you think the labor could take? I want to be there for the entire thing but not sure just how long im looking at.

I'm unable to get an appointment with a doctor for 2 weeks, is there anything urgent I need to be doing or should I try to just go to a hospital? It doesn't seem there is much that can happen in this time, but I don't want to not do the right thing. Does the doctor just confirm the pregnancy and give you advice? I have no idea. Thanks.

Ok I haven't had my period in 38 days and I usually have a 28 to 32 day cycle. I have taken 2 test one last thursday and one saturday and both neg. I don't feel stressed everything has been going well with me, what could be going on? Thank you!!

P.S. We have been trying, but no luck so far though.. Even though I wished I was preg I just don't feel pregnant and the test are neg.

Is it normal to have that feeling "down there" like you are about to start your period towards the end of your pregnancy? That little pain you get right before you usually start... thats what I've been feeling for about 3-4 days now.

Has any other of you women got this feeling before in your final month of pregnancy?
Does anyone know what causes you to feel like your about to start your period? Is it normal?

i'm 30 weeks pregnant today and for some reason i feel like i've hit a milestone. i'm a college student and have 6 weeks left of the semester. 6 very busy weeks. lots of homework and test plus i have to work. we have the crib set-up and everything. i just feel so ready for him to finally be here. i know that they say the last few weeks are the longest. did they really seem to fly by for anyone? i just don't see how they are going to drag out with all i have to do. what do you think?

Okay. I’m kind of freaked out, but I’ll keep the story short. My period is 12 days late. For about a little more than the past week my lower back has kind of hurt and my lower stomach area has to, like near my bladder area, in the middle. I guess you could say. My breasts are tender too. This seems to go away sometimes through out the day. My stomach is really bloated and it looks like it too. Last week there was a lot of white-ish sometimes yellowish discharge, but not so much now. I’m still a virgin. But a little over 2 weeks ago I had oral sex and our clothes came off. I was pretty careful not to get it near my area, and I didn’t, but I’m not sure if any semen on near there, like by my hands or anything? But I made sure my hands were whipped off before I touched anywhere near there. I’m pretty sure his hands were clean too. But later it got on my stomach, and dripped downward, but I had pants on by then. So I think it stopped at my pants line. Maybe I'm just freaking out. I’m kind of undergoing a stressful time, and this is always in my mind now, because I think I could be…I also haven’t eaten as much as I have been or probably should. I’ve also been exercising 3 days a week too

I found out I was pregnant a week ago, last night I woke up drenched in sweat this has never happen to me in any of my pregnancies. Is this normal? My first doctors appointment is today in the afternoon.

I'm a nurse who works night shift and have to work very long hours if we're short (around 12-16 hours at a time). I have a bleeding disorder and there's a history of miscarriages in my family. Do you think my Dr. would consider putting me on restrictions (at least 12 hour restrictions) due to these problems, or do you think it'd be alright to continue working like I have been?

Just today i started to having pelvic pain and in the last few days i think my belly has dropped. Today i was going to go for a nap and i went to get out of bed and could bearly walk i had so much pain and pressure and its still there when i walk, its like i have torn musles. What could this be?

I found out today it is a yes....but Im only 3/4 weeks at the most...and Im ALREADY showing...my bf and I have a lil girl already, but this is different, with her...I was wearing my normal jeans and a tube top at 5 months, you couldnt tell other then the boobs...and this time...NOTHING fits, I have outgrown my jeans in 6 days....is this normal?

I'm five weeks pregnant and so excited.
He isn't excited. At all.
He also has a habit of, or maybe a fetish for... Ejaculating inside of me. I explained to him a long time ago that although I am not against abortion, I couldn't do it.
I asked him if he was trying to get me pregnant, and he would joke around about it.

Now that I'm pregnant he says he's not ready. I cry my eyes out every time I think of having an abortion, but at the same time I grew up a single child and the last thing I want is to raise this child on my own dealing with a father who begrudgingly takes part in his child's life.

I understand the obvious answers, I.E. you should have used a condom (duh) and abortion is murder.

I would truly appreciate it if anyone out there has a little kind advice or maybe some ideas about benefits for single mothers in California.
I really don't want to give the baby up but its so daunting thinking about doing this on my own.
How can I be fair to him and to the baby?
