I don't think that you can be pregnant and still have NORMAL periods. You can be pregnant and bleed if you got that way just before your period was to start. And some women "spot bleed" during pregnancy, but don't have NORMAL periods. She should talk to her doctor for some real answers. And if she can't see a doctor, then try a home pregnancy test. They are almost always right. And if she is, then obviously she needs to be seen by a doctor. Tell her good luck.

This is likely, but highly unlikely for most people. I completely stopped my period when I found out I was pregnant and every one of my friends who also had children, completely stopped theirs for the duration of their pregnancy. however, you do hear of women who have their periods for a long time. If she keeps having her period until the middle of her "pregnancy", then I would say that she's not pregnant. Her peiod should be lighter and she should also be having pregnancy symptoms. Tell her to take a test. You can buy cheap ones even at the dollar store now! good luck to her.

You might possibly have one period after getting pregnant, but you will not have anymore after that. This is due only to timing of your normal cycle and the time of pregnancy.
If you continue to have periods you will not be pregnant unless you have a tubal pregnancy, in this case you could continue to have normal periods, however the symptoms and pain along with other problems would present themselves and you would need to seek medical attention. Also the pregnancy would be terminated.
This happens only once in every 150,000 pregnancy's and usually tend to correct itself by discharging the embreo during the period cycle.

You don't have your period. But you can still have bleeding. I have read about it online and I have a friend who didn't find out she was preggo until 4 months because she had lighter than normal bleeding for 3 months in a row. Tell your friend to take a test and if it is negative I would say she is not preggo.

Yes, your friend can still have periods and a negative urine test. The only true way to know is to see a Doctor and have a blood test.

It's possible but not likely. I knew someone who bled for the first three months of her pregnancy b/c her uterus was tilted.
