I'm 23weeks and 4days pregannt and my baby is due on the 22nd february...confuses me too lol..1st day of last period was 22nd may 07 and one midwife said my due date was 1st march (as feb a funny month) but when I went for my 1st scan on 10th september at 16weeks the measurements and scan said I was 16weeks and 2days...and that the expected date of delivery is the 22nd february 2008 and that the scan is the most accurate way of telling...so I'm 24weeks on saturday and have looekd at calendar and worked out that 40weeks comes to 16th feb but they're sayin 22nd feb and everytime I go they always tell me that I'm the same amount of weeks that I have worked out! also remember that there isn't the same amount of days in each month!! x

It is calculated at 40wks from the FIRST day of your last period even though technically you weren't actually with child for the first 2 wks or so.
Or a pregnancy is 280 days long which translates into 40wks.

Really a pregnancy is about 9 1/2 mths long and can go longer if you are over due (I really hope that doesn't happen to you!)

best of luck and I hope that explains it!

Your due date is worked out from the first day of your last menstrual period and 9 months and 1 week are added. Gestation itself is usually around 38 weeks based on when ovulation and then conception took place. There is no exact certainty of the time of this last event. Hope this helped.

Because it's 10 months from ovulation time. Of course, I am sure you are aware, due dates aren't always spot on either, they are educated guesses sort of... They are generally close though, within the day before or the day after... Basically, they are prolly right about a third of the time, I would imagine.

You used a condom yet became into there any form of interest till now the condom went on? If i became into on your challenge i could quite think of approximately if there could be a danger in any respect that it may desire to be the different adult men yet once you used a condom the full time and there became into no get entry to in any respect...then i could say it pretty plenty isn't the different adult men infant. attempt to verify in case you had intercourse with your husband around the time that would make greater experience with the time-physique of your due date. Plus in case you're 8 weeks pregnant, then commencing up of March could make you farther alongside. Punch in the dates in a loose internet site and spot what your duedate could be in case you have been to conceive on the commencing up of March....that could desire to verify each little thing for you. stable success :)

I'm not sure...I am 25 weeks, 6 days and I am due January 31, 2008. According to the calculators on baby2see.com, you are 25 weeks, 4 days...you are just off by one day.

It is because you are actually infact pregnant for 40 weeks and 40 weeks is ten months not nine. They work it out from the first day of your last period not actually conception. Its very confusing, I just go by weeks I am 23 weeks and have 17 weeks left to my due date :)
