I'm going on a holiday in december, and bought two swim suits for then (obviously bigger sizes) - but i feel that people that i've told, dont quite find it appropriate. should i care?

I wouldn't care - I think its totally cute and I did it when I was six months pregnant. I think as long as its within reason and you aren't showing places you shouldn't, Why not?

I course it is fine to were a bikini. I wore a bikini when I was 8 months pregnant. I had a hard time finding a maternity suit that would fit so I just wore a bikini in a slightly larger size. It looked great. If you are self conscious then just have a swim suit cover up or a pareo nearby. I think most pregnant women look great in bikinis (unless they have gain like 100 pounds) Show off your baby bump!

I wore a 2 piece bikini when I was pregnant with my son right through the summer and he was an April baby so I was quite heavily pregnant.
I was proud of my baby bump and wanted everyone to see it. I did get a few comments though none negitive things like wow how are you so big and no stretch marks and you must be a proud mum to have you baby bump exposed

I think it's absolutely fine!! Why would it matter, really, I wonder, to some people? They don't mind seeing a woman wearing a bikini when she's not pregnant, so what possible difference could it make if the woman is pregnant - with a baby? Why would it be offensive? You have this beautiful child inside you - I think if you are comfortable with it, then do it!! And good for you! I hope you encourage people to stop being so hypocritical - it's crazy how uptight people get about some things!

Go for it if your comfortable. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing. I think when women show off thier pregnant bellies, its just too cute, I think it looks beautiful. No, dont care what other people think, those people are just close-minded people, and if they have a problem with a pregnant belly, then its not you, its them, they are the one with the problems. Why would it be inappropriate? It's showing off your child thats growing inside of you. Most people would look because they think its cute, the other people, well its just cuz they obviously arent happy with themselves. Show it off, its a beautiful thing! I wore one at 9 months pregnant, there was no swim suit that would have covered my enormous belly!!!!

Absolutely not! If you're comfortable with your body, and the suits you bought are not meant for a Playboy Bunny or stripper, wear what you want! Besides, as long as you're pregnant people are going to be disapproving of one thing or another. Think of this as a practice in putting up with even more of it later on, if you learn to handle it well now you won;t be bothered as much by it by the time your baby comes. Good luck, and have a great vacation (you might not get another chance to relax like this for a while :)).

Yes it's perfectly fine. I was pregnant in summer and wore a bikini and sarong all the time. Even at 9 months.
Love the belly, embrace the belly :) It's beautiful!!!
Really it does not matter what others feel appropriate as long as you feel comfortable.

only if you feel comfortable, I wore mine to the pool a 2 piece at 3 months tummy budging and all I looked as if I was already 5 months and didn't give a damn what people think and I am now 5 months, I said shoot I am pregnant and pregnant women want to have fun too, sometimes you just have to relax and act as if it is not there lol good luck and congrats

Yep if you feel happy in a bikini go for it!! Lucky you for feeling good enough about your body to want 2!!! I saw a photo of Nicole Ritchie in her bikini pregnant and she looked great baby bump and all. IM JEALOUS LOL!
