that's a good question, i think it's important to tell your husband that you might be pregnant. he needs to be in the lope. There's no easy way to tell him. But maybe make a nice sit down dinner and tell him you need to tell him something. Tell him that you think you are pregnant and you even went to the doctor to see if you are pregnant but you are waiting for him to call.

Nope. My husband knew I was testing and wanted to be there when I took the test so he knew the minute I knew. The doctors test by urine is the same as an hpt so it's no more reliable. Some doctors don't even test anymore if you call and say you got a pos. hpt.
Congrats!! Tell him right away, I am sure he will be thrilled. His job from here on out is to be supportive, you will need it.

We weren't attempting nor combating it for a 12 months and 7 months and it occurred. I took the attempt 8/22/10, observed 2 strains, I panicked, so I instructed my mom first and then me and him laid interior the mattress and that i confirmed it to him. He did not have self assurance me, so I had to flow to the keep, get yet another attempt, take it and then I confirmed him and believed me. he's one in all those guy or woman who barely ever shows any emotion, so all he did become rather plenty say "oh..." LOL. That gets on my nerves. yet i'm able to tell he's surely satisfied even however he would not practice it. I wasn't on the beginning up, yet now i'm over the moon! i don't be attentive to how many exams i've got taken for the reason that then merely to "verify" i'm nonetheless pregnant by way of fact I'm7 weeks the next day and that i've got hardly ever any warning signs different than for sore boobs and fatigue. Congrats to you and everyone else!

I did, that was because my husband was gone in the army and I didn't want to tell him over the phone anyways. I would show your husband the two test you took tell him that you probably are but that you are going to the doctor and then you two will know for sure. Good Luck.

I called my husband right away, mainly because I could barely make out if the three pregnancy tests I took were actually reading positive! We still laugh about it.

Nah I wouldn't wait...you got two positives you never get false positives go ahead and share the joy with him! If you want to you can find creative ways to tell him. For my hubby the last time I found out I was pregnant I got a stuffed baby rattle and put it in a baby shower gift bag and put the positive test in the bottom of the bag.
With our son and breaking the news to his folks we did a themed dinner baby back rips, baby carrots, baby potatos, baby lima beans and a baby ruth cake! :-)
When we got pregnant with our daughter I made our son a shirt that said I'm A Big Brother! :-)

I told my husband the minute I got the positive pregnancy test. Except with my third. It was VERY unexpected and our 2nd child was only 4 months old. I waited awhile because I was still in shock myself and was scared of his reaction. He was happy and supportive of course.

No! My doctor wouldn't see me until I was 10 weeks. I could NEVER wait that long! I told my husband right away, with both. Good luck!

No. You should share the good news with your husband. Most OB/GYN's won't even see you until your about 8 weeks along. Congratulations on your pregnancy.
