I found out I was pregnant a week ago, last night I woke up drenched in sweat this has never happen to me in any of my pregnancies. Is this normal? My first doctors appointment is today in the afternoon.

Thanks again

Yup, it's normal. When you get pregnant, your body goes through insane hormonal changes. I've gotten hot/cold flashes and have woken up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat. Not to mention my horrible complexion...LOL. It's all worth it. Although, be warned that after you have the baby, it's a lot worse!

Congrats and hope you have a happy and healthy nine months!

I got horrific hot and cold flashes in early and late pregnancy. I did that a lot while pregnant, woke up completely drenched, or shivering cold like I had fever.

It didnt effect me or my baby at all. I imagine its normal, since its caused by hormones and pregnancy changes those hormones.

After I found out I was pregnant, this is one of the first things that happened to me. I was at work one day and the girl in the cube next to mine stood up and said, "Oh my God, your face is so red." At that time no one knew I was pregnant, and I was thinking my hot-flash face would give it away! It's normal. Congrats and good luck!
