I'm currently 35 weeks and have suffered the same since week 32.
The midwife and doctor have both told me it's where your pelvis is stretching - preparing you for the birth of your baby.
Despite it being painful - you have nothing to worry about ... it's totally normal.

Some days, i can't get out of bed because the pain is too harsh to walk ... but the more you try to keep moving, the easier it becomes.

We have this uncomfortable pain to look forward to from week 36 aswell when the baby's head starts to engage ... aren't we lucky ?!?

Men don't know how easy they've got it !! ha ha

I would say that because you are at the prime stage for the baby to drop it would the baby grinding on your pelvic bones and basically causing all your 'bits' and ligaments to become aggravated.

I found that resting with a pillow inbetween my knees or if I was on my back, a few proped under my knees so they are bent really helped to take the pressure of my pelvis.

You are really getting to the stage when hubby's come in handy so you don't have to walk around so much and they can wait on you hand and foot!!

best of luck for your impending arrival

Well, the pelvic pain that you are feeling could be your baby dropping. It is normal, babies can drop days even weeks before you delivery. I would suggest talking to your doctor and ask him/her what they think.

You might have dropped. Or, your baby might have found a comfy spot to rest his/her head!

This seems normal unless it prevents you from moving or walking at all. I would try to get out and walk as much as possible. Exercise seemed to help me after my babies dropped.

Good luck, and congratulations!
