After the birth of the baby, does the hospital take care of the birth certificate and social security card? Or are these things that the parents have to figure out? I am planning on asking my doctor at next appt. but I'm just trying to figure everything out ahead of time.

I am 23 weeks and we still don't know the sex of our baby. i was wonder if any one has tried the gender predictions or old wives tales that have work and which ones they were. i know it's just for fun, that's why i am doing this. i go to the dr. on the 23rd for a 4 D ultrasound so I will find out for sure then. i am just looking to pass the time and try some fun stuff.

help please i dont have stomach pains im ok ,but im at work is 4:21pm i leave at 6:00pm should i wait till i get off or go to the doctor right now!!! help has anybody had this problem.

hi i am 36 weeks and my baby is very breech, he has not dropped and his head is right under my ribs, they are giving me another apt next week to check the position , if he is still breech, they will schedule a c- section...i was just wondering if anyone had a breetch baby at 36 weeks that droped and became head down eventually, and if any one knew the chanced of him moving into right position for delivery? just curious.. any advice would be great!

Im 21 weeks prenant and for the past week i have been feeling pain in my stomach and when I lay down at night I feel like im going to start my period but there is no spotting or anything should I be worried?

I plan on staying home with my child until he is 4 years old. I don't like the idea of childcare. Thats my personal opinion, and I'm not criticizing other people's choices. My boyfriend makes $5000 a month - after taxes. Do you personally think this will be ok? I think it will be plenty since rent runs around $1100-$1300 in this city. I kind of feel guilty for wanting to stay home with my child but I think he can support us on this income. Do you think that we'll be alright? It's just my mother is putting all this pressure on my to go back to work right away and making me feel like it would be a bad thing to stay home with the baby. I am just wondering what you guys think. Thanks!

Ultrasound said from the babys measurements that i was only 26-28 weeks but i am positive that my LMP was in dec. 2006 so i am 34 weeks...really confused and wondering is the baby just measuring small or what...thank you for your advice.

My MIL is throwing me a baby shower, well she's acting like she is. Her way of throwing the baby shower is by buying decorations and saying "oh we can decorate with this" but not actually planning anything. So i've taken on the role of coming up with all of the ideas and she's taking my ideas for her own and buying the supplies. Well i am going to have girls from the age of 18 all the way to older women in their 70's. I came up with the idea of buying a bunch of onesies(99 cents) and having a bunch of iron on designs and fabric paint so everyone can design a personalized onesie. Also my mom and MIL will decorate a bib that is dedicated to eachother and i will be making an overnight/diaper bag that both grandma's will use. Do you think this is an ok idea? I don't like the idea of corny games and i'm just wondering if everyone will find this entertaining... in your opinion.
There will be more to the shower but this is the "main event".

Normal?? I had my daughter two years ago. I'm also wondering if it could have something to do with the fact that it was an emergency c-section and my daughter was premature. Could it be nerve damage due to the fact that it was done in a hurry?

It's not a bladder infection, as I was seen and treated for that about three weeks ago.

Hi,
I'm going for a Nuchal Screening scan tomorrow and will be 12 + 5 weeks pregnant. I just wondered if anyone has found out the gender this early. The scan takes around 25 minutes so i'll be having a peek myself but if professionals can't tell i'm sure I wont be.

Also, can you see much at all on a scan at 12 weeks? I has one at 8 weeks and could only see a blob with a heart beat.

ok here she is:

hi, i had sex with my boyfriend in april and then my period was about 2 weeks late but i got it and everything was normal. and then i got it the next month and it was normal and the next and i just got it again today. they have all been normal and on time except for the one that was late in april. is it possible i can be pregnant? i didn't bother taking a test cause i ended up getting my period. also the month it was late was my prom and i was kinda stressing with that and stuff, and i was stressing that i might be pregnant. but is it safe to say i'm not pregnant?

So many men talk about how pregnancy is just an excuse to complain and be lazy. Now, we all know that women were chosen to give life instead of men because they couldn't handle the pregnancy or the birth. Pain factor. Do you think this is accurate?? haha If they only knew.

I was just wondering if it is normal not to have any breast leakage at all at 30 weeks pregnant? I have no signs or indications that they are about to start either? Is it possible that they won't leak at all? Thanks all

What do u guys think of a girl that gives up sex so easy like on the first date or so. And ladys how do we talk about those girls that do this. i am 14 weeks pregnant had 3 scans 6 weeks 8 weeks and 12 weeks all ok although i've got cramping like pains just like a period they are very faint but have been there for ages i keep checking thinking i've come on my period but i havent is this normal DONT SAY GO THE DOCTORS I WOULDNT BE ASKING ADVICE IF I THOUGHT IT WAS BAD JUST WANT SOME ADVICE FROM REAL MUMS

okay so i would really like to try to follow gods plan. you know waiting until marriage to have children and so on. Well me and my fiance were talking and i am curiuos to what other christian people think....... I would like to not be on any kind of birth control and if i get pregnant then thats a blessing from god, my only problem is what is i end up having like 10 children by the time im 40.i only really want 3 kids. will it be considered a SIN if i use contraception to prevent having children i can not fiancially provide for? or should i just stay off birth control and make it work?

Okay here is the situation, I just started having morning sickness type symptoms about a week ago (am 8 weeks 2 days). Anyway Saturday and today were really bad. Today I am having trouble holding anything down, even water, even air. Is there something I can take or should I go to the hospital so that I don't get dehydrated?? This is my first pregnancy so I'm not sure if I am over reacting, I just don't want to get dehydrated and wind up with problems later in my pregnancy. Any help or advise??

I was dx w/one about a year ago and it realyl hasn't bothered me much until now! I am 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant and it is driving me nuts...it aches constantly!! I sit at a desk all day so I know the pressure i'm putting on my abdomen isn't helping...is it going to get worse as i get farther along? Will it cause any complications with my pregnancy?

I you are pregnant than you should have the baby, not kill it. Just because you are so messed up in the head, doesn't mean that you can just kill an innocent life. You are killing your own child! If you really don't want a baby, then you should just stop having unprotected sex. Please just tell me why these horrible mothers are getting away with murder.

Well the end of July I took a pregnancy test and got a positve. My period ended on June 26th. So how far along does that make me and 2nd I've had horrible morning sickness and ended up in the emergency room twice. I have my first Ob-gyn appointment tomorrow and I"m very nervous can anybody tell me what usually happens at that first appointment. I'm so scared thanks.

I've been takign prenatals but I cannot keep them down, what should I do?

I'm trying to eat healthy but I'm craving burgers like crazy! Any one else have this?

I'm suppose to go for an ultrasound 15 - 20 weeks, I want to find out the gender, should I go now or wait a month or so?
