ok here she is:
hi, i had sex with my boyfriend in april and then my period was about 2 weeks late but i got it and everything was normal. and then i got it the next month and it was normal and the next and i just got it again today. they have all been normal and on time except for the one that was late in april. is it possible i can be pregnant? i didn't bother taking a test cause i ended up getting my period. also the month it was late was my prom and i was kinda stressing with that and stuff, and i was stressing that i might be pregnant. but is it safe to say i'm not pregnant?

stress or strenuous exercise could of been the culprit of her period being late. She got it and it was a normal cycle and it looks like she has had numerous normal cycles after that.
I think it is safe to say that you are definatly not pregnant.
To ease your mind if you think you will still worry.
they sell cheap tests at the dollar store, go buy one of those, they would work great because if you were pregnant when your period was late, you would be about 4 months pregnant already, your belly would more than likely be poking out a little bit. It is possable to be pregnant and have a normal period but not likely.
take the test, it is the only sure way of knowing.
but wait till your period is over
They give out condoms at schools now, your sister should look into getting some, since she is sexually active. if the guy is not going to care, which he can just walk away for the most part. Your sister should take care of herself and be safe.
There are also STD's she could get from unprotected sex.
be safe and have fun :)

I got pregnant at the end of April and judging from my own experience, I am pretty sure you would know by now if you were pregnant just because of the other symptoms. I have never heard of any woman not having a single pregnancy symptom at all by 16 weeks. You would already be losing your waist line and your clothes would be getting snug, if not too small to wear altogether. You're not pregnant.
If you stop having sex, you won't have to worry about this.

Prom really could have stressed you out, affecting your period. To be on the safe side (especially since you are so worried), just go ahead and take a pregnancy test. That will give you an answer. If you keep stressing about it (and you're not pregnant) it could affect your next period. Good luck to you!

This is a question that unfortunately I see way too often in here...yes you can still get your period and even have a relatively "normal" cycle when you are pregnant. Normally after the first trimester the periods will end...the only way to really know is by taking a test, don't rely on/assume that your period is a safe indicator that you are not pregnant. If you don't want to get pregnant remember that there are a million options for birth control out there now...find the one that is best for you.

Lots of things can cause a period to be late. Stress, exhaustion, illness. I don't think you could be pregnant.

i would say you are safe to say you are not pregnant as long as you are not having any other symptoms....breat soreness, strange discharge, stomach growing..things like that..if everything else is normal then you should be ok..and i hoppped you learned a huge lesson on being more careful in the future..not a very good rle model for a big sister....

i dont think you are due to the fact that you were stressed out that month. Stress has alot to do with how your body works along with other thing that are going on in your life. but if you are still worryed about it, it wouldnt hurt for you to take a test.

No one here can answer that for you. Take the at home test and know for sure. You should also stop having sex since youre not ready to be a mommy and thats the only way to be sure you wont become one.
