My due date is Dec. 29. I would like to have a New Years baby. But will be happy with whatever happens.

26 hours, no pain med went to 9cm couldn't get to 10 had a c-section.
P.s first time babies usually a few days late you will prob get your wish. but by the time you get to the end you will pob want it out, and want it out now.

With my first born I was in labor for 27 hours. My daughter was 7lbs 12oz and 19 3/4 inches. I also had an epidural. My second labor was 90 minutes. My son was 9lbs 12oz and 21 inches. I did not have any pain meds. I am due with my 3rd and really curious how my labor will be this time...

I was in labor for 2 hours and 15 minutes. I was only at the hospital for an hour and then pushed for 20 minutes. Everyone was so surprised since it was my first baby.

I was in labor from about 9am to 11:52pm. it wasnt bad until i got my water broken at around 2pm. from there contractions got alot more painful. they gave me some nubane around 8 pm i think and that helped. i slept for like 2 seconds between contractions. then finally pushed for about 45 minutes and there was my son. I was due on Christmas last year, but I had him on the 21st. good luck by the way!

I'm due on Dec 29th too. This is my first so i don't have the answer to your question but I'm curious about when my little one will decide to come. Before or after the new year!

With my first child I was in labor for 6 hrs., with my second it was 4 1/2 hrs.

I was in labor for 3 hours from first contraction - went in to be induced when already 6 cms dilated.

Baby #1 - first contraction to delivery - 3 hours
Baby #2 - first contraction to delivery - 1 hour, 15 minutes

About 20 hours.
But I'd say about 4 of those hours were easier contractions.
Everything seemed to be longer in my labor.
5 hours of early labor
12 hours of active labor
2 hours of transition
40 minuets of pushing

with my first child i was in labor for 16 hours and my second child i was in labor for 4 hours it varies from woman to woman
