im 40wks+6 and had a membrane sweep done yesterday! for the past 3wks i have been trying every trick under the sun to help bring on labour but nothing has worked! i thought that having the sweep done would get things going but so far i havnt felt anything yet, no tightenings or cramps! i went for a long walk last night hoping this would help but all its done is cause a pain on my pelvis bone do you think this is the babys head engageing. ive been loosing my mucus plug slowly since i had the sweep, do you think if i had sex would that get things going or can you suggest anything else because im booked in to get induced on sunday and would prefer the baby to come before then

I've missed two periods, yet still the home pregnancy test come back negative. I feel pregnant, I have just about every symptom yet still the test come back negative. (If it helps I had unprotected sex during my fetal days.) I just am wondering Could I be pregnant even though the test I have taken say no?

I know weird things happen when you're preg, but this seems really strange... Almost a week ago my left sholder started getting really tight (which is normal for me) - BUT now whenever I take a deep breath, it feels like there is a cramp in my heart..... BUT if I hold my sholder muscle and take a deep breath, I don't get the cramping....
Has ANYONE had this??? OR knows what this is???

I have just found out that i am 2 months pregnant. I am 23 years old the father and I split up about 4 months ago but thought that a one night thing would releave us which it did, but the condom didn't do its thing. I have told the father whom said that he would support me with what ever decision i make, but that he was more on the "keeping" side of things, but would still support me if i had a T.O.P. I am really confused and under pessure as i only have 2 weeks to make a decision.
Does anyone have any ideas, or thought that could help shared a light on the decision making?????????

I am 35 weeks along, 5 short weeks left to go. I dont feel any different today than I did the day I found out I was pregnant really, aside from the baby bouncing around, and this biiiiiig belly. How are you/were you feeling at this point? I feel like I should "feel" my body getting ready to deliver this baby, but honestly it feels like I could just stay pregnant forever...weird?

I had unprotected sex on May 1, May 2, May 15, June 2, June 10, June 18, and July 28.

I am aware that having unprotected sex any time may result in pregnancy. I just need to know the chance of me becoming pregnant, is it big or slim? Please help.. My next period is due on August 27, and my average cycle is 34 days (based from www.mymonthlycycles.com).

How soon can I know if I am pregnant or not? When do you think I should take pregnancy test?

ok so i am sorry if this turns your stomach but i need to know if anyone has had this happen to them or any ideas or helpful tips thanks so much for your help.
ok i am about 13 weeks pregnant.
i finally have been feeling better the past week(no sickness or nasis) until this morning i felt so sick to my stomach and could not eat anything i tried crackers but no matter what i would get sick(not throw up but diahria really bad)
i do not feel like i have to use the bath room but when i feel likei have to urinate i go to the rest room and i have to poop and its all watery and like i had no feeling i had to go. this has been happening all day and i have not ate anything but this wont stop.

any helpful hitns or anything i can do
is this normal for pregnancy?!?!

My wife and I are expecting our first in November and everyone is giving us really opinionated advice, some of it is obviously bad advice and everyone says something different. A lot of it sounds like old wives tales and some of the people have problems with their kids, but they still say it's the only way to go.

okay, so like 5 or 6 days ago, my boyfriend and i were at the movies. ALL we did was make-out and he fingered me. The last three days i've had horrible cramps and my period isnt supposed to be here until the ninteenth (its the fourteenth) and it hasnt come. everytime i squeeze out a fart (kindaweird) the cramps come back..i dont get it. my breats are reallly sore too.

ok i'm 35weeks, i dropped 2 weeks ago. it was very obvious and the dr. confirmed it. today it feels like the baby dropped even more! there's even more distance between my stomach and boobs. the low pelvic pains are sharper, harder. and i feel like my hips seperated a couple more inches when i stand and walk it's like my stomach is going to fall to the floor. what does this mean?? i'm going to ask the "station" at my next dr.'s appointment. it's getting pretty difficult to move around. and i also started having more braxton hicks today than normal. do you think i should be concerned or is this just normal prelabor stuff?

okay i am 36weeks and still do moderate work with standing some lifting and excercise, also we just moved into a new place so i have been hussling getting the new house together on top of transfering everything, about when should i start to slow down and rest for the big day? Also can you go into preterm labor not getting any rest and constntaly on the go working and running around like your heads cut off like i have been?

Well I'm 5 months pregnant and this is my first child.

I am just a bit confused because I feel movement - but I don't know if it's the baby or a muscle twitching.

The reason I don't know is because when I feel it - the movement is pretty fast - like I'm gonna deliver a Rockette lol.

So I was wondering if baby kicks and elbows are typically slower and more fluid motions rather than fast thumping?

This is my first time being pregnant I am about 6 weeks along. My husband of course is very uneducated about anything that has to do with being pregnant. I need a website that I can make him read so he understands a bit where I am coming from. For example this morning I woke up real pale and I said babe look how pale I am, he says oh why don't you go lay out by the pool and get a tan.... Then I tell him I am so tired and he says, yeah me too. I have been in bed all day and without talking to me he has invited guests over, which I made him call and cancel because I am just not in the mood. Just little things like that. If he knew a bit on how I was feeling that would help a lot. Are all your men out there this way too. Don't get me wrong I have the best husband, he just doesn't know anything about pregnancy.

I'm 7 weeks and have noticed small clumps of discharge in the toilet after urination. The color is not pink, brown, or gray. It's whitish and very small (like a booger :-) ). Just curious if this is normal. I've heard that milky discharge is normal but clumps could be bad.

I had someone come to me very worried that they could be pregnant. They are over two weeks late, experiencing breast pain, swollen nipples with now noticeable blue veins, bloating, and extreme heart burn which then causes some nausea. However, they have tested once every few days throughout the past two weeks and are only receiving negative test results.

Could the fact that this person is overweight have any effect on when she could expect a positive test result if she is pregnant? Is hCG a fat soluble hormone and thus, that is why she has not yet tested positive?

And, have any of you tested negative repeatedly only to find out (through a blood test or at your doctor's) that you were actually pregnant?
