This depends on if there are any medical problems.

At 36 weeks, your baby would be healthy even if you do go into pre-term labour.

If you are still feeling fit and well, go ahead and do what you feel capable of. If you are tired - rest!

You are pregnant, not ill!

You should NOT be lifting anything over 25 pounds at this point, and dont even TRY to lift over 40. It causes you to contract your stomach muscles, which not only strains your body, but can cause labor.

You should be slowing down all together. Get other people to help you. I know nesting is crazy impulsive, and with being in a new house and all it seems like it all MUST get done now, but trust me, newborns sleep A LOT. You can get the little things done later.

Stop doing so much, you better bet you can land yoruself in the hospital having a baby long before you should.

I would certainly think about trying to rest more by 38 weeks, you're never going to have another nights sleep without wondering what baby is doing, or having to get up and care for baby.

Plus, labor is exhausting. And the first few days home are hell. You need to rest.

Yeah you should have started to slow down weeks ago. Take it easy, get some well needed rest:)

if you're comfortable doing all those things you should be fine. once you're in labor, you'll know when to slow things down. but cut it out with the lifting stuff. other people should be doing that, not you.

You should slow down soon because yes you can go into pre-labor at any moment.

slow down now...why would your husband LET you do anything major anyway? Tell him you have got to slow down..starting tonight. NO MORE work girlie. Relax.
