I'm 7 weeks and have noticed small clumps of discharge in the toilet after urination. The color is not pink, brown, or gray. It's whitish and very small (like a booger :-) ). Just curious if this is normal. I've heard that milky discharge is normal but clumps could be bad.

yes welcome to pregnancy. With that discharge there is more to come. it will get thicker. it is called leukorrhea and sometimes reffered to as cervical mucus. speacialt thanks to the extra bloodflow to you mucus membranes, you may also notice your nose feeling more stuffy as well-congrats:)

i had the same discharge clotting , it went away now 6 months pregnant and havent seen it since , although its when the color changes from white discharge to grey , yellow etc that is a common sympton of some form of infection , bein it a urinary tract infection or a possible indication of an S.T.D. I personally wouldnt worry but if it continues to bother you , it wouldnt harm you to go get it checked out by you doctor.

Oh the joys of pregnancy! Very normal to have increased discharge. Can be different colors from clear to yellow to kinda greenish. As long as your not having any other symptoms related to infection just mention it to your OB the next time you see him.

Your cervical mucus changes during pregnancy, especially during early pregnancy. It is creating your mucus plug to close your cervix. If you are having any signs of infection, i.e. itching, burning, contact your doctor.

its impossible to tell for sure without knowing exactly what you mean by 'tissue'. i think you should check with your doctor asap. call your doctor and describe whats going on maybe they can tell you if its normal over the phone. (i just re read that and it may sounds weird to call your doctor and describe tissue over the phone, but i have a really close friendship with my gynecologist) =) bottom line: ask someone who can give you an informed professional opinion and go see your doctor asap.

It is totally normal. Sometime it gets stringy and when you wipe you have to keep wiping to get it all out. Gross but true. Be sure so wear a pant liner for hygiene purposes.

Sounds normal but you might want to mention it to your doctor on your next visit. She can check if you have any infections. Some women are more prone to infections (especially yeast infections) while pregnant.
