I haven't had cramps in quite a few weeks, but today I've been experiencing cramps (similar to menstrual cramps, where my ovaries would be) on and off. I don't know if this is braxton hicks or not?

Occasionally I can feel my uterus tighten, and I'm thinking that is Braxton hicks, and I only have that a few times a day, if at all. Today I've only noticed this experience once, but I've had cramping on and off. It's just making me nervous because I'm only 23 weeks...

I've been under a good deal of stress this week as well... so I'm really hoping I'm not sending myself into premature labor or anything. What would be signs of premature labor and when should I call my doctor or go to the ER?

Is there any way you can get pregnant besides engaging in sexual intercourse? A detailed answer would be very much appreciated.

I'm taking an early home pregnancy test today and I'm very nervous..
I had unproctected sex on 5th and 8th day after my period.,
what are the chances of my getting pregnant?
I do want a baby and I'am very excited about it, but at the same time scared that my results might be neg.
I know that the best time to get pregnant is 14 days before your period, but I also know that you could get pregnant whenever...

I'm 4 months pregnant (17 weeks) and I went on a 3D ride that lasted about 5 minutes max, if anything a bit shorter. I thought it was only 3D without movement but it moved a lot. I'm worried that it might have had an affect on my baby. Should I be concerned?

hi i am 39weeks+2days i was released from hospital this morning i was in hospital for another reason not because of my pregnancy the reason i was in hospital was because i had a bad epileptic seizure but since i got out i have been having this terrible back pain(feels like numbness pressure)it DOES NOT come in waves if it did i must be like 30-40mins apart so i think its not back labor my back only started playing up when i got home and the pain is in the lower back also i have had some tightness feelings for the past 2weeks which i imagain are braxton hicks
a have started getting heavy pressure pains at my pelvis/cervix area could this mean i could go into labor really soon like tomorrow?

My induction is scheduled this next thursday and i feel that i am going to have a major nervous break down because i am so scared that something is going to happen to her. I'm afraid that she wont be alive or something else might go wrong. Just hearing about all the bad things that go wrong with deliveries and babies is really scaring me plus reality is setting in. I was just wondering what i could do to calm down and has anyone ever experienced this?

My husband and I are not sure if we are going to circumcise our son (he is due in early October). I was just wondering if this has an effect on the decision to baptise in the Catholic Church?

Thanks for the help!

I am being induced next week and I was wondering if I need a gurdle, my mom told me that I need at least two so that I wear it when I get out of the hospital. She said it helps to keep the tummy in place and she also said that it makes you feel more comfortable. I was wondering what you ladies say or think about gurdles??

HI!! My sister-in-law was due on August 4, so she's heading toward 2 weeks overdue. she wants to do everything natural, which I totally support, but we're all (especially her) getting fustrated.

She is planning on having a natural birth in water at her home attended by certified midwives. She has been receiving her prenatal care from experienced and well-qualified midwives. There have been no problems in the pregnancy (aside from not gaining alot of weight) but this baby is so late, is there anything she can do that maybe she hasn't thought of?

She's seriously considered castor oil, but my brother doesn't like the idea, and she is scared to (says she doesn't want stomach cramps on top of labor pains).

She's been trying other things (nipple stimulation and others) but so far, nothing's worked (though she did have a brief "false labor" on Aug 6, I believe.

Anything that can be done that maybe she hasn't thought of?

Thanks.

have to interfere. This is my first child and the doctor's I go to keep changing doctors. At my visit prior to this one the doctor felt the baby and did not voice any concern about the baby's weight. Will I have to deliver my child through a c-section or should I not even be worried until I find out what the ultrasound says. Oh and I haven't even dropped yet.

I had protected sex around the 25th of june, and got a regular, normal period around the time i should have. Fast forward another month, and my period is on time. However, now my period is done, and i'm still getting the back ache, head aches and what I think is cramping. However, i wear bad shoes and sleep on the floor and couch alot, AND have a history of anxiety and those type of symptoms. I know i'm probably not, but is there any possible way I could be pregnant?
