Is there any way you can get pregnant besides engaging in sexual intercourse? A detailed answer would be very much appreciated.

do i have to stay away from anything besides intercourse in order to not get pregnant?

close genital contact. dry humping can cause pregnancy.
pretty much if the guy comes (ejaculates) any where near your vagina. this includes anal as it can drip in. you can get pregnant
if you dont want to get pregnant dont fool around.
you play with fire you will get burned and always use a condom you can get a whole lot more than pregnant you can get a number of stds many with no cure

You have to stay away from semen, and there can be small amounts of semen present before ejaculation.
For example, let's just imagine that you gave a brother "a hand", and found it to be such exciting work, that you gave yourself one right afterwards. There is a (slim) possibility of pregnancy.
If you had semen in your mouth and kissed someone who then decided to kiss your other lips, you could conceiveable conceive.
Pretty graphic, I know, but accurate.

Invetro is the only way I know. But I would rather do it the old fashion way.

any contact between gentials.. external.. is possible.. the better question is why would you worry about pregnancy and not STDs? any contact..can transmit
