i'm in the scientific field No you're actually not pregnant. You had your era or you ended your era on the twenty 8th had intercourse on the twenty 9th you are able to no longer get pregnant a week in the previous a week after and whilst on your era your physique does not paintings that way. You the two have an infection or the hormones in the nuva ring are too stable for you.. you are able to take BC and be superb and then restart and have a reaction. right that's a speedy well being lesson each and every 14 to 21 days a female ovulates. Her uterus fills with blood and tissue in hopes of housing a fertilized egg. while the egg isn't fertilized that is expelled from the physique. The egg is microscopic and you're unaware that that is been expelled from the physique. Your uterus realizes there is not any fertilized egg and the blood and tissue sloughs off and you initiate your era

People can get pregnant from ANY form of birth control.
I was on the ring, and could have easily gotten pregnant (fortunately didn't, though). I was taking a medication that messed with the hormones in the ring. Because of that, it was almost like I wasn't on birth control at all (I got the info from a friend... NOT either of my doctors!!!).
The Nuve ring is pretty much 'standard' birth control. Some women need more hormones than the ring can give.
However, if you're not having breakthrough bleeding (as I was), the ring works as well as any other standard birth control pill would. If you ARE having breakthrough bleeding, it means that the hormones aren't strong enough for your body, and your chances of conceiving increase.
The Nuva Ring is 99% effective, if used correctly (http://www.nuvaring.com/Consumer/new/aboutNuvaRing/index_flash.asp).
There's always that 1% chance!!

I hope not I just started it 1 1/2 weeks ago. Have to watch this question. The chances of getting pregnant are supposed to be the same as being on the pill or better though.

No, but I was on it for about a year. We decided we were ready for a second one and we thought it would atleast take a few months. But.. my date of conception was 3 days after removing the ring.
