When did everyone start to notice the line that goes from your pelvic to your navel?

I have had 4 babies and never had linea nigra. Not all pregnant women get this line and it is more common in women who already have darker pigmented skin. In some women the line goes even higher than the belly button, as high up as the bottom of the rib cage. If a woman is going to get linea nigra, it generally begins appearing in the second trimester and can last until several months after giving birth. Sometimes the line never fully disappears. It is caused by an increased production of the pigment melanin.

i noticed mine about a month or two ago. i'm 28 weeks. it's not from my pelvic to my navel, it's more like pelvic to the very top of my belly.

I did not notice mine until i was 32 weeks (i never got an outie) I had my baby 19 weeks ago and I still have the line, I SURE WISH IT WOULD GO AWAY!!!!!

I started to notice mine about 6 weeks ago. I am now 34 weeks pregnant. It's not very dark though.

Around 24 weeks or so...
I've never heard of it as a "mothers line" but as a linea nigrea... good to learn, though!

some women never get this. I am 23 weeks pregnant and don't have it nor did i have it with y other two pregnancies.

I remember it being later in my pregnancy - around 7or 8 mo's.

I don't really have one. Not everyone gets it. Certain skin tones are likelier to develop that than others.

I never got one and I had gained almost 40 lbs for my pregnancy.
