I know weird things happen when you're preg, but this seems really strange... Almost a week ago my left sholder started getting really tight (which is normal for me) - BUT now whenever I take a deep breath, it feels like there is a cramp in my heart..... BUT if I hold my sholder muscle and take a deep breath, I don't get the cramping....
Has ANYONE had this??? OR knows what this is???

I didnt know i was preg with my first and I used to drink every weekend, ( BUT STOP ASAP WHEN I FOUND OUT I WAS PREG) I used to get like a heart burn really bad and every time I breath in it hurt that bad I feel to the ground, I found out that the baby was pushing on a nerve that does something to the chest and i had to have med to help me with these pains, so see your doctor because its not good for you if your breathing gets worse witht he pains and not good for the baby!

CALL YOUR OB/GYN IMMEDIATELY AND FOLLOW HIS/HER DIRECTIONS. When I was pregnant, I felt cramping in my chest several times in which the pain was so severe that I had to stop working until the pain went away. My doctor warned me of what it could be--- and among those things were possible life threatening occurrences. He directed that I go to the hospital to have it checked out. We ended up narrowing it down to acid indigestion. But now, more than ever, it's important that you protect yourself and your little one. It's just a phone call away to ask the doctor. And if they're acting like you're bugging them, then that's a good sign that you should find a more caring doctor. Either way, you win. So, don't wait anymore and just pick up that phone.

Congratulations in regards to your baby and best wishes for a happy and healthy pregnancy.

I don't know how far along you are but I remember getting something like you're feeling (the cramping and difficulty breathing) but I was already showing at least. I can't remember because my daughter is now 2 1/2 years old. Just to play it safe, call your doctor and make sure.

Ive had this feeliing before but I wasnt pregnant at the time. I suggest you tell your doctor right away and if it gets worse go to the er. But I was told its called "the devils grip" and its your muscles cramping and people often mistake it for a heart attack. Better safe than sorry! Take care!

get checked by a boctor right away before it goes into a 911, could be a small problem but also could be a large one like heart over powered by the added baby or you may have a heart mummer and in some cases a minor stroke so get checked for your own good okay and good luck.

I had a lot of that when I was pregnant, and they told me it was just gas (indigestion gas). However, you should mention it when you go into your next appointment. You don't want to be having anxiety attacks or a heart attack and not address it!!

Hmmm... could be gas. Could be angina. Check with your doctor to make sure. Try not to worry, I know easier said than done. :)
