Pregnancy - August 2007

It's only been a short amount of time, I'm not even due for my period for 11 days but what are the earliest signs to look for if there are any this early? Or what were your earliest signs and when? Thanks!

if I may be miscarrying. I've taken three HPTs since Friday, (all positive) and just today I have a slight dull achiness in my back. I haven't had ANY spotting or bleeding - breasts are sore, nipples have changed color due to the hormonal increase, vaginal discharge increased..but still no blood or menstrual type cramps. Am I tripping over nothing or could this be the onset of a miscarriage? Attached is my chart..

Any advice would be most helpful. I've called my dr today to schedule a blood test and ultrasound but I just want to know if I need to worry or not.

I am on birth control and I had to double up a couple times because I forgot my pill. I use a pill called season ique. So I have a period every 3 months I have been getting sick almost every morning for about 3 weeks I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. Could my pills cause the test to read negative if it is really positive?

I'm 5 months pregnant and for about the last 4 months, I cannot brush my teeth w/o vomiting, it's inevitable. It started w/ brushing my tongue, so I've stopped that, I've changed toothpastes, it's not that. My husband thinks I need to use a children's tooth brush but I'm pretty sure it's not the "size that matters" (no pun intended.) I've already dropped to only brushing once a day and it's all I can do to do that because I puke puke puke... Any tips?!?! Also, I'm not nauseous before brushing, so the anti-nausea tips and tricks are useless... -Thanks Ya'All!

my BF ejaculated inside me on the day i ovulated. i know i was ovulating because that was the day i had the most eggwhite cm.. and a few days before i had some.. plus my cycle is 30-31 days long and this happened on day 16.

who had sex JUST on ovulation day and got pregnant?
(we had sex on days 4,8,9,10,11 also.. but he pulled out.. and i do know PRE-c.u.m can get you pregnant)

i JUST SIMPLY want to know.. which one of u ladies got pregnant by just having sex on the day of ovulation? and what did u have boy/girl? thanks

My friend is 13 weeks pregnant with her first child. Scan showed up 'abnormalities' which may be Down's Syndrome. She has more tests to do to be sure but is being advised by medical staff not to have the baby. She's in a terrible dilema and I cant help her with the decision. Can any of you offer advice or experiences? She's in her early thirties.

I am passed my due date! A week ago at my dr's appointment, I was not dilated at all and he expects to have to induce this week. However, all weekend I've had increased pressure on my vaginal area and rectum.. (not a pleasant thing to hear about, I know...)! My lower back and lower stomach has been aching constantly, and it almost feels like cramps. I've also had BH contractions ALL WEEKEND every 5-10 minutes, which makes my back hurt really really bad. Today I can barely walk because my back and lower stomach hurt sooo much. I'm still having the BH contractions too. I have a dr's appointment today, but I just wanted people's opinions on this. What could this mean? Did this happen to anyone else?

at first we didnt use a condom but when i felt that i might climax soon i put a condom on right away.. then i saw the white stuff... but we continued making love until i came..... which was 2-4 minutes later... did i get sperm inside her or did the white stuff come from her?

No helpful answers before so I'm asking again.
I'm a little nervous this month. I don't know if this is all in my head or what. 10 days after ovulation I had a big temperature drop, then the next day it went back way up and today it's still way up. My period is due in two days and I feel crampy like I did when I got pregnant with our first and my hips have been bothering me like my first pregnancy. My husband says it's all in my head. We were wanting to wait till January to try for another baby, but we'd definitely welcome an eager to get here baby into the world!
So is there such thing as an implantation temperature dip or is it just a coincidence and all in my head? I know alot of things can effect your temperature.

I am 35 weeks pregnant planning on going on birth control as soon as possible after this baby comes. I plan on breastfeeding and was concidering a IUD as they last 5 years and you dont have to remember a pill everyday. I know they are expensive but does anyone know of any way to get one for cheaper such as a free trial or coupon for money off? I really dont want Irish twins! LOL. Thank you.
OH!! Other forms of BC that are great for breastfeeding mothers please let me know!!!!

I have a big problem. I asked this question before, but I didnt ask it right. Me and my X wanted a baby for some time. Last summer, or last year, we would have constant unprotected sex, hoping for a baby. However, I could never get intercourse with her even when I tried so hard to get insertion. I would always ***, but it was always on the outside. She never ended up pregnant the whole summer that we tried. We tried for a long time, until up 2 about april, where she was still not pregnant even from trying so hard. The last time I ever had sex with her was when she was on her period. I could still not get intercourse, and blood was running down during the time. however, the next week, she cheated on me and from rumors this guy broke her cherry and she became pregnant. What are the chances of this baby being mine, is there even a slim chance?

My insurance is only going to pay for one. I doubt if they say it's a boy it could be a mistake, but what if they mistakenly think it's a girl? How often does that happen?

I found out at almost 7 weeks that I was losing my baby. My husband and I were so happy to be pregnant and from what seems like one day to another I find out I'm not anymore. My husband is super supportive but seems like some family and friends don't think it's to much of a deal b/c I wasn't that far along. I was devestated though, I've been so upset lately. I've heard from a friend, that "you'll never go into labour when you've got a cold". She said her midwife told her this. Does anyone know if this is true? I am 41 weeks pregnant and have just come down with a stinker of a cold - typical eh? Can anyone reassure me?

Ok, so I am about 98% sure im preg. which was backed up by the sleepless night I had last night due to my horrible nausea.. So I took an equate pregnancy test this morning ( since it says thats the best time) and I anxiously awaited the results.. and then all I got wat one window filled w/ pee (eww) and it was very dark so I cant even make out the line and the second window was still blank and white.. So what exactly doest this mean?

Ok so i have all my babies by c-section(lots of medical probs) which i hate because i can't see anything because of that sheet they put in front of your face. So with my first son things went awesome and better thani anticipated, then with my daughter the OBGYN says "oh no not another stillborn" i was in shock and balling my eyes out, she ended up being fine then with my last son my doctor commented on how big his penis was while i'm still in the OR. I am considering going with a new OBGYN for my last baby, but because my OB is the chief of obstetrics i'm not sure if i can. Would you do it and do you think female docs are more compassionate and more cosmetic?

I went to see a famly planning dr and he explained to me abt all the methods of birth control...i ended up choosing the pill which is taken for 21 days. He told me soo much that i ended up not getting the time to ask the most important question. How soon does the pill become effective?? The first day or a few days after??

PS: i started my P's yesterday morning so yesterday evening was my 1st day to take the pill. I am 25yrs.

My long term partner and I split up 6 months ago. He moved on to someone else very quickly. This hurt very much & I decided to find someone else to take it off my mind. I was sleeping with "mr rebound" I took the morning after pill, my period came 7 days early on the 10th of July.. I then had sex again with "Mr Rebound" during my period (i'm not sure if it was a ligit period as it was 7 days early and think it mite be from morning after pill)... My long term partner and I got back together and have been having sex ever since the 21st of July. I have tested positive to a pregnancy test, which reveals I am 4-5 weeks pregnant.
I had a vaginal ultrasound today which reveals I am about 4.5 weeks. Is there anyone out there who can help me with working this out. The dr said he puts his money on the fling guy and the ultrasound lady thinks it's my long term partner.
What's your opinion without being too harsh?
