Could you share your experience with taking this drug for morning sickness? Did you take half (12.5 mg) or whole (25 mg) tablets? Any adverse effects you noticed in your child?

my dr gave it to me, even gave it to me IV when i was in the hospital for dehydration. its completely safe. my advise is just take 1/2 of one because they will knock you out. and from my experience if you try to stay awake it will make you feel like you are drunk so you need to go to bed. try eating a small meal as soon as you get out of the bed and see if that helps without taking the meds.

I've used it...I took it my 2nd and 3rd month of pregnancy because I was so sick all the time I couldn't eat and was losing lots of weight....I took half at first and then they upped my dosage and when they upped my dosage the very first night I took it...it made me throw up and made me really dizzy and tired...and then all of a sudden the next day I wasn't sick anymore...so I don't know what happened...but it seemed to cure my sickness all of a sudden...but as for effects on my baby...I had my ultrasound done 5 weeks ago (I'm 25 weeks pregnant now) and they said her heart is very strong! It's 150 beats per min! Her brain and spine are very good and well developed and everything seems to be fine so far...but then again she's not born yet and won't be til November 25th, 2007! Hope it helps! :-)

Knocked me out for almost 10 hours, so I took halfs. Still made me kinda zombie like. No affects on any of the kids I know, but I found the acupressure wristbands did the same job with the nausea, but without the drowsy effect. Good Luck

Yep, i had it all the way through for both kids. The only thing that helped me was to actually vomit, and i would take the phenergan at night so i could sleep. I took it through out my whole pregnancy and baby was as healthy as can be!! It will definitely make you feel funny though, so if you take a whole pill, make sure you can go to bed right away.
