Ok, so I am about 98% sure im preg. which was backed up by the sleepless night I had last night due to my horrible nausea.. So I took an equate pregnancy test this morning ( since it says thats the best time) and I anxiously awaited the results.. and then all I got wat one window filled w/ pee (eww) and it was very dark so I cant even make out the line and the second window was still blank and white.. So what exactly doest this mean?

In May of this year, I had a blood test at the doctors office that was inconclusive. [ I personally believe that the technician did the test wrong...medical technician or not-he works at the front desk, and they shouldn't be allowed to do it. ]

When it comes to the personal HPT's, my theory is - NEVER use a pregnancy test that is not digital. The ones with the urine windows are sometimes too hard to determine any results, even though they come with instructions of how to tell if it's Negative or Postitive.

Always buy at least two different brands of digital, and maybe a different brand of 1 regular test with the two windows.

Edit-Clear Blue and First Response are the best.

To be safe just do another test. When you're done with the test place it on a flat surface and leave it alone until the instruction time is over then check for a result. Inconclusive tests show cos the test is done incorrectly or you check for results too soon and unsettle it. Sounds like you could be pregnant but rather do another test. Good luck.

Sounds like a faulty test (check the use by date if it has one on the box). Go and buy another one and test again in the morning. Buy a different brand this time just in case (and a 2 pack so you can double check it!!)

good luck

take another test to find out. If you could not make enough urine for the test to work (and was very dark) it sounds like you are very dehydrated so need lots of water to make up for not being able to tolerate it earlier. Good luck

means its negative, BUT i have done the equate and honestly it was the same thing for me and i was already 8 weeks when i took the test

Get 3 from the dollar store they are the best and the cheapest

I always feel better when i have tested atleast twice

and always keep a back up for just in case , ( just in case my husbands says are you sure, or the tests aren't clear)

good luck

It means you should take another test. That one is definitely defective. And, no, it doesn't matter what brand you buy. They all work the same.
