why do none of your questions make sense?

I am trying to put this through my brain translator. I talk to a lot of people where English is not their first language but, this one really has me stumped.
I think the first part means "I couldn't answer because you stopped me from doing so."
The second part??? "Fifty times a second is from birth?" Do they mean contractions? But, no one has fifty contractions per second LOL
I give up :P
