I have had a sickness bug that has been going around work for the past few days. The sickness has now wore off and I am feeling better in myself. However I have some crampy wind pains and a bit of the runs (sorry too be graphic) :-( Will this harm my baby the fact that my tummy has been and still is a little off. When I was unwell I had a checkup and blood pressure/baby etc was fine...

im late 4 weeks tomorrow, i took pregnancy test last week and it says negative, but i got all the signs, my breast is getting bigger and very sensitive, i feel very tired in the morning, is it just stressed or what? does anyone had this experience before?and find out they're pregnant?

I am currently on FMLA for a knee injury but am currently working. This expires in July and I have at least 10 weeks left on it. I'm also pregnant and due in a few weeks (April). I understand that for the pregnancy/delivery I get 6-8 weeks of ST disability. My orth. doctor wants me to get the reconstructive surgery 4-6 weeks after the baby is born (enough time to re-coop from that). I would be out of work at least 4 weeks for this surgery. So how would this affect my ST disability for the pregnancy and my knee surgery? Is there a chance that I could be fired under these circumstances or is my job protected under the FMLA that is already in affect?

I'm 21 years old and I just recently found out I'm 3 months pregnant. My fiance and his family are really happy but my family is so angry. I told my mother when I came to visit her this week. At first she was disappointed but supportive...somewhat. She told me to abort but I don't believe in abortion for these situations, if I was raped maybe it would be different. So now she's angry and not speaking to me. I know she wants me to stay in school (I was going to be a vet) but its not like I can't get back in school once I have my baby. I don't understand why she is so against us keeping our child. He works a good paying job, we're getting married, we live together and we love and support each other. She tries to put me down about the situation which makes me mad because she had 6 kids by 5 men and was only married to 2. Now there's going to be a family meeting b4 I go back home and I know they're all going to attack me verbally. How would you handle this situation?

Does this happen to anyone else? Sometimes I'm really sticking out there, and some days like today, I am not showing at all.... maybe I'm retaining more water some days than others? Very strange, maybe its in my head.. lol

I was just on a wesite that said that you should feel 10 movemenst every hour. This has to be incorrect, I am almost 29 weeks along and my little guy has a couple active periods a day and then I do not notice him the rest of the day. Was this site wrong or is my baby not moving enough...how often should I feel him at this point??

My period is only a day or so late so I dont want to test yet and get a false negative since its still so early. But do any of you know if increased vaginal wetness (kind of like what it feels like when you ovulate) is a sign of pregnancy??

Okay,so I went to my first OB/GYN appointment yesterday. I am 11 weeks. When my doctor did the internal exam, and put her hand in me, she said my uterus felt "extremely" pregnant and wanted to do an ultrasound to determine if it's twins- that it was a strong possibility.I said - WHAT? (and my husband was like- whoo hoo! And was like- NO!) So, has anyone ever had this happen to them? What's going on? Can a doctor actually feel if a uterus is bigger for how far along you are? (I know I'm not further along then then I thought, because my period has been very regular) Thank you.

okay i started looking on the internet for the answers, but i decided after looking around that i might ask for everyone's experiences and suggestions. Today i went to my 35 weeks appointment and the doctor said i had some protein in my urine. also that my blood pressure was a little high, but they rechecked me after leaving in the room for a few minutes to just sit and no talking and it went down greatly. (121/65) anyway they think i might have preeclampsia. well i know what preeclampsia is, but i would like to know about everyone's experiences with preeclampsia. i want to avoid a csection so if i have it, i want to try my hardest to make sure i can vaginally deliver (ill have to deliver next week if i have it) because i have to do the at home peeing in a jug for 24 hours which i will do next wednesday. and they already told me that if i get headaches or blurred vision to go straight to the ER. anyway does anyone have any advice to give me about this to help calm my nerves& curiousity

I started having morning sickness on and off throughout the whole day at 5 weeks. Now I'm 8 weeks and havent had any morning sickness. I only feel nauseous every once in a while but it's not as bad as when I was 5 weeks. And sometimes I don't feel any nausea at all...it'll be like 1 or 2 days out of the week that I will feel a little nausea. Is this normal?

Okay my daughter could be pregnant, of course she didn't keep good track of her cycle. But we know that she has not had her cycle in at least 4 weeks. I have given her several pregnancy tests and we can't get in to the doctor for a couple of weeks. Could we have 7 tests show a definite negative and her still be pregnant?

alright so im 35 weeks and 5 days. i was told on monday 3/5 i was 70 % effaced 2 cm dilated and at 0 station and i had lost my plug. well i come to find out i hadnt lost it.i actually lost it today. now what is others experiances say that im starting to dilate more? and could it be soon? i know there isnt a exact time when it can happen but anything will help ease my mind

Alright here is the scoop. I am 27 almost 28 weeks pregnant. Before I tell you whats been going on let me tell you that it took me almost a year to get pregnant and I really thought I would be happy and excited about it. But as my pregnancy goes on I just keep feeling more like "why did I do this" "what was I thinking". Then when it came time for me to be able to find out what the sex of my child was and of course I wanted to find out being my first baby and all I had my hopes on a girl and never thought of myself having a boy. But when I went to the ultrasound I found out I am having a boy... and I have these thoughts like why did I even get pregnant. I don't understand why I feel like this and really don't want to. I want to be able to be happy that I am bringing a child into this world. What is wrong with me????????

I have been divorced for about 4 years, and the main reason was that my ex-husband didn't want children. About a year ago, my ex started calling again, and 2 months ago he started inviting me to events. However, he would make it very clear that they were not dates. Well one night after accompanying him to a business gala we ended up sleeping together, and now I am pregnant. I know we could have made it if I didn't want children, but I married him anyway figuring that one day he would change. I am not getting any younger (over 35), and I truly feel that this is my last chance at ever having a child natrually without adoption. I do want to keep it, but how fair is it to force someone to have a baby, and I have no idea how I am going to tell him.

We just got the new that my husband is high on the list to go to iraq and I can’t stop stressing out.

being high on this list means that he is going, and there is less of a chance for him to get bumped off, unless there is a miracle or something of that nature.

On my last check up my doctor informed me that I had extremely high blood pressure what has never happened to me before, in fact I have always been on the low side. the doctor is very worried about this extreem high-

I know the stress is just eating at my body and know that stressing out isn’t good for me an the baby. I just don’t know how to settle down!

I keep praying and praying for God to help me relax, but I don’t know what else to do. It’s not like taking deep breaths or drinking tea can help me this time.

What would you do? Please help me!

I am 38 wks pregnant and have been loosing my plug for a couple wks. Today I have lost LOTS. like I am constantly feeling it in my panties so I check and every time there is more. I am a little crampy like but nothing strong. Is it possible I could start labor soon since I am loosing so much, or could it be weeks.

I am 25weeks and 5days and my belly really isn't that big to begin with because i had a good bit of belly fat before i got pregnant. I notice that when i wake up in the morning, my belly seems to look much smaller than when i went to bed. In the evenings it looks pretty round and it feels tight like my skin is streching, but when i wake up, it's much more loose. Does this happen to anyone else? What is causing this? Should i be worried?
