when i walk alot (such as around a big store), i start to get sharp pains shooting down. its not my whole stomic. it feels like the baby is sticking a needle down trying to poke her way out of me. it this normal? once i sit down, the pain goes away completely. i asked my mom if she ever had those pains, but she said no.

Okay.. 2 weeks ago ( when i was 34 weeks ) my doctor told me my baby was head down.. Not dropped or engaged.. And i cant tell when hes like that because hes always on the right side and i can actaully feel the hardness in my lower pelvis with my hands of his head.. WELLL @ some points i swear he moves out of that position to the breeched postion.. I can feel it.. he can see this hugee lump across my stomache..

I asked my older sister and she said no way its not that... Do you think he is moving in and out of the head down position?

Does anyone know the chances of getting listeria while pregnant? I have eaten a few deli sandwiches, like salami. Should I really worry? My OB didn't even warn me about it - I read it on a baby website. She wasn't concerned enough to tell me to stay away from certain foods so I'm wondering if I should still worry.

I just wanted to say that 2 weeks from today I will know if my third little baby will be a boy or girl!! I am so excited I cant wait. I cry sometimes thing about my three kids growing up together and having such a great life!! I have two girls so a boy would be really nice, but if I have a girl, at least she will never run out of clothes!!! I will be 19 weeks. So that there will be a question in here, How far along were you when you had your u/s and did you find out what you were having or wait?

i found out i was pregant last week, but had an operation 3 weeks ago which intailed x-rays.
have had a blood test which showed a HCG of 145630. Seen G.P today but all he would say was that would have see doctors at hospital and have scan and that i could deside whether to get baby!

Last week it was as hard as a rock, and the doctor told me she wasn't close. He was surprised to feel today and see how soft it was. What does this mean? Doesn't this mean that dilation is next? I know no one can predict when I'll deliver, but based off of experience, what does this mean in terms of a timeframe? Thanks!!! :)

today i went in for an office visit which i go every 4 days (monday,Thursday...due to my blood pressure) about 2-3 weeks ago my dr said i was 1 cm dialted but today the nurse said that i wasnt at all...i didnt tell her anything but it made me wonder..on monday nite i seemed to have lost my mucus plug but it didnt have any blood or anything it was clear dont you have to be dilated for thatto happen?? according to the drs i am at 36 weeks but i also think they have that wrong the baby weighs 6 1/2 lbs already...could they not be telling me something???

I'm prego & I wanna know what you did while you were prego. What did you do b/f you were gonna have your baby ? Did you go visiting more ? Yes we're supposed to "take it easy" but I'll lose my freedom when the baby arrives. Any suggestions ? Other than preparing financially. Also, what are the necessary things to buy ?

I got a belly button ring when I was in college. I've had it at least 7 years. I was going to just keep it in but now I wonder if I should take it out. Honestly, I don't even think about it but every time my mom sees my belly she asks "when are you going to take that thing out." I think I keep it in just because she says something.

Does anyone have any experience with this? If I take it out now at 26 weeks will it close up or am I too streched out? If I leave it in will it just stretch and be gross?

So, I'm no where near becoming pregnant and don't have a tattoo. Just to get that out of the way. - I would like to get one very soon but, being the planner that I am LOL, I would like to get one in a place that is cute but won't stretch out too much if I become pregnant later (much later probably). I know I don't want anything on my stomach which I would think would be the worst place for stretching. I think I would like one on my foot/ankle (the outside of the foot, below the ankle bone, near the heel) if you can visualize that, but I know feet swell & stuff in pregnancy so would that make it stretch or would that place not be too bad? It would be small. Thanks.

The doctor sent me for a NST and an ultrasound because the baby stopped growing. He also said that he saw on the ultrasound that my placenta is aging prematurely.He is going to see how well the baby is doing next week at my appt. but my concern is that I will have to deliver early. Is this true or can I carry the baby to term? Please help! Thank You.

I woke up this morning and noticed that my right side of my face was swollen. I kinda let it go bc I though maybe I was just tired, and imagining it. When I went to lunch with my hubby he was loooking at me all weird, and he said that my face was swollen. It is under my eyes, and around my eyes, more on the right than the left. When i went in last friday they said I had a little bit of elevated stuff in my urine, but they were not worried, and my blood pressure seemed okay (they did not say anything about it being high...it is higher than normal...but that is not odd for pregnancy).

I dont know...I am just wondering what is going on. I have pain in my upper abdomen when i bend down...but that has been happening for a while, they called it a "hot spot" or a nerve thing.

The doctor wants me to come in tomorrow morning instead of my monday morning appt. What do you think?? Any thoughts?? Any advice?

one of my really good friends thinks that she might be pregnant. Her period is late. She told me that she used a condom and i'm pretty sure that she was on birth control for cramps or something. Is it possible that she's pregnant? I'm really worried about her. She's only 14, it was her first time having sex, and her boyfriend (who is 2 years older) broke up with her right after. I'm worried about her. help!

I am 21 weeks pregnant right now and I can't get comfortable at night I start out on my left side with the body pillows between my legs, etc. but in the middle of the night I wake up on my right side. I have read many things saying this is very bad for your baby but I can't help doing it. It keeps me awake too because I try my best to stay on my left side and i get worried everynight that I am hurting my baby. Is it really true that it can hurt my baby or is it okay for me to sleep on my right side? HELP PLEASE!!

I have a very irregular period problem, well i dont think thats the problem because I have heard of many cases of women with the same problem and they get pregnat... Im 19 years old and I have been have sex with my boyfriend for over a year without any type of protection and nothing happens.. is something wrong with me? I have an interview for a job next week and was wondering if I should tell them I am preggo? I don't want them to not hire me because of it and I know it is discrimination if they don't but I would never be able to prove it. But I also don't wanna get hired and then have to tell them because then they will be upset. Please help if anyone can find out what the exact laws on this are that would help tremendously.

OKay is it ormal at around 5 weeks to experince the constant urge to pee...i havent really had frequent urination but the urge is always pretty much there is this normla at this stage ladies??have u experienced this?? thanks!
