I am a week from being seven months and I look like I am about 3 or 4. Why do some people stay so small.?

My doctor said that it was ok. But, I can not help being worried because everyone is saying that I am too small.

Every pregnancy is different. When my mom was pregnant with my sister and I (twins) she didn't show till she was about 7-8 months and was still small.

Your Dr.s say's ur okay so no need to worry.

Are you a small girl to begin with? I weighed 105 when I got pregnant and I have a very small bone structure. My belly measured small up until the point that I delivered. I also had a full term baby at only 5 lbs. He was perfectly healthy though. You dont need to worry at all if you dr says everything is fine. Just make sure you are growing even if you are below whats normal. Good Luck

Do not worry, I am the same way. I am 7 months and 3 days and I am tiny as well. My doc says I am measuring fine but look very small for 7 months. She said my ab muscles are very fit and just holding the baby in there. She said, enjoy it because next baby I will not be as fortunate. Do not worry about it.... I have learned through this pregnancy, if the doc says it is fine, it is fine. No need for additional stress... good luck.

People always have an opinion when you are pregnant - "Oh you're so big" or "Oh you're so small" - the key is, don't listen to them. The only person you need to be listening to is your doc - they will tell you if you have anything to worry about!

I know how you feel, i am 34.5wks, have put on minimal weight and am forever being told "you don't look pregnant from behind" or "you look sooo little are you absolutely SURE you are 5.5wks out from your due date". It worried me too - i was constantly thinking OMG something is wrong, etc etc.

I mentioned it to my doc who said "You are perfectly fine - your measurements are fine and you and baby are healthy. I am trained in this and have had years and years or studying and practicing so please tell me why you would doubt me but take the word of someone off the street who has no medical training whatsoever??"

LOL - gotta love my doc! And its very true!

If your doctor says its ok your really should not worry....any way mosts people do go though their whole pregnancy without gaining a pound....one lady didn't even know she was pregnant until 5 hrs before she delievered the baby...she said she lost weight and didn't have any signs she went to the hospital with stomach pains....and her baby was almost 7lbs and healthy...soo i think you have nothing to worry about just remember very pregnancy is different

I didn't show until I was close to being eight months and I always heard from people that I was too small but I had an almost 7 lb baby! You will be alright!

im gonna be 8 months on the 25 of march..and everyone still tells me im small too..but the ob says its ok...it just depends on the person..and as long as your little one is ok and growing dont worry about it..be happy cause people tell me all the time its hard to maneuver when being big..good luck and congrats..

Relax...it is ok and does not mean anything is wrong....I did not even really show at all with my 3 girls until I was 7 months and it just appeared to happen overnight. I am sure you will catch up in the next couple of months.

don't worry about what other people say. You're just the size you need to be. everyone is different. it probably just runs in your family to be small. i know from looking at my mother i'm going to be HUGE. lol. so don't worry about it. just as long as your healthy. Good Luck.

People never believed I was carrying twins cuz I was so small. I barely looked term for one, let alone two. Its just different bodies. Best of luck to you.
