At 19 you can go to a doctor, and if you are sexually active you should be having regular checkups, so go ask someone who can give you a good, educated answer.
The odds are good that you will have babies. There may be some small problem that a doc could clear up for you. Good luck. Kids are the best!

Yes you can although why you would want to at such a young age and with only a 'boyfriend' is beyond me.

Keep going like you're doing and you may get pregnant at the time you least expect or want it. Then what will you do?

It's always best to have children born into a stable loving environment (married mother and father, committed to each other) than in an unstable situation as you describe.

Any problems you have with your boyfriend now or any problems in your life now will be amplified by at least ten times when you have a baby. If you have most of the other problems like food, shelter, money, committed relationship, taken care of before you have the baby, then the joyous event will not be overshadowed and you can enjoy the feeling of being a parent without the bad things interfering.

Do you not have annual gynocological checkups? Sexually active women, and/or women over the age of 18 should have them! Your best bet is to speak to your doc. If you don't feel comfortable with that, try charting (take your temp every mornng around the same time, before getting out of bed) and see if you're ovulating.

P.S. Why do people want to get pregnant before getting married if they're gonna marry the person anyway? An accident is an accident but deliberately doing it? I don't get it.

I had one at age 17. (Got preg two months after my boyfriend and I began a physical relationship.
Then I didn't get preg again until almost 12 years later..and my husband and I were sexually active for over 2 years! So I know I'm fertile. Just timing is probably the issue for you.
If you're very worried, see a fertility specialist, but most likely your body is just that type.

talk with your doctor irregular periods can mean that your ovulation cycles dont occur regularly or that they may skip a month or so even in regular cycles women dont always ovulate every month just bring it up with your doctor they can recommend a place to check your fertility and just so you know it may not be you that is infertile it could be your man whatever the case maybe i wish you the best and make sure that you are prepared for a child finacially and emotionally

Talk with your doctor. Chances are that you simply aren't ovulating on a regular basis, and doc could help you with that. You will likely need just a little help from him to get pregnant when you are ready.

Are you insane? You have your whole life ahead of you. Why in God's name are you trying and have been trying for a year?? You say you don't use protection and that is the same as TRYING. If you are not comfortable talking about sex to your mother than you are not mature enough to be having sex. EVENTUALLY wanting a baby is one thing, but actively trying is nuts.

Slow down, get some condoms AND some birthcontrol pills. Who knows what your boyfriend might pass on to you besides a child at a young age.

I was 19 when I had my first daughter....although my husband and I were not actively trying at the time but we were not preventing it either it took a year and half before we did end up pregnant. You are still young and have loads of time.
