Pregnancy - March 2007

I have been taking Yasmin (birth control) for 1 month and 3 weeks to be exact. Just the other day, but I dont remember when, I took an allergy pill. I was just told today that if you take cold medicine or allergy medicine, there is something in them both that can mess up my birth control like i wasnt even taking them at all. i just had sex yesterday. what are the chances i will get pregnant? if it only for the day that i take the allergy medicine that it will mess it up, does anyone know how long the allergy medicine will wear off. somebody please help me, i couldnt find anything on the internet or with the instructions my pills came with.

ok a friend of mine smokes weed and ya know she would get high........( and God yes we both Know its wrong b4 i get ppl out therre tryin to be my mom and dad) but recently she had unpretected sex and its too soon for a serum or urine test but she has noticed that she doesn't get high at all nemore plus she had had a few weak preggies symtoms like 2 weeks after sge would have conceived. could the reason shes not gettin high nemore is because shes preggie and the baby is suckin everything outta her.... i.e. nutrients, oxygen........help me out herre im only a pre-med student and never came across this atleast not yet............

I am 19 weeks pregnant with twins and I haven't experienced any weight gain. At my check up three weeks ago I had lost a pound from my previous appointment. Everything I have seen says to gain between 35-45 pounds. I have an appointment on Tuesday and I definately plan to talk to my doctor about it. But I was wondering if any of you have had twins and could share your experience.

I feel dumb, cuz I am a nurse and all, but I had a baby the end of July, and my cycles have been weired since then, I had to change brands and types of pills three times. Finally found one that kept me from bleeding at the start of week 3, and now well, I"m late. I don't feel pregnant, my breasts don't hurt, but I am tired, but what mom of a 8 month old isn't. Is it possible with all the different pills I've taken since September that I could be pregnant? I will wait until Monday to do the HPT, I live in rural area so when I buy one of those the whole town will know! BTW Baby in July was baby #2, we at this point we're sure if we were going to add #3, so do I wait and tell him or tell him when he gets home, and we both be paranoid for 3 more days??

I have a few questions?
1. What kind of birth did you give, c-section or natural
2. if natural how was ur sex life after words. did it feel the same? not to be vulger but could you feel it go to the "bottom" or was there no longer a bottom? was it a lot looser?
3. For both how was the wieght loss process? like how much did u gain did it come off or did u have tyo work hard to get it off?
and anyother things you'd like to add

I know it's very normal to lose hair after giving birth, but for how long? My youngest is nearly 2 and I am having to clean out my shower drain 2 and 3 times a week because I am losing so much here. It's gotten to the point that I'm thinking it may be thyroid problems due to the hair loss as well as other symptoms. What do you think?

I had my second c-section 3 weeks ago. first one was 7 years ago. Anyways.. tried for a VBAC but didnt work- had to have a c-section and the epi didnt work so ended up with a spinal. Had really really bad bruising all over my stomach afterwards as well as inside. My question is- there is a large area right under my belly button that is still almost completely numb. Is this normal? Will it go away?

I have been with my husband for four years and we have a beautiful almost three year old son!!! we were planning to have another baby later in the future but i recently found out i am 1 month pregnant! i was taking care of myself with birthcontrol pills and i still got pregnant. When i told my husband he flipped and said it was all my fault and that he was not ready neither am i but he has not said anything to me everytime i want to talk to him about our neww baby he gets moody and tells me to leave him alone. But yet he asks me how am i feeling or how did the doctor's appointment went???but other than that he does not give me a attention or even a kiss. So finally my question is, is this just an anger phase........ or do you think he hates the baby for reals??? i have come to accept my baby and i am happy taking care of myself an telling everybody that i know!!! please help!

I am from Russia. and my gfd is from Thailand and we are both legal aliens in US. recently we found out that we are expecting a baby (13 weeks). I was wondering what is the average cost of delivery of a baby in State of Virginia and could we apply for medicaid to help us. if yes what benefits we can qualify for? My gfd and me we both make around $30,000/year.
any suggestions where we can go and ask for help?

Can i still dye my hair if i'm pregnant? I'm not sure. I heard that you can't dye it because of the smell, but then i heard from another girl that i can still dye it because im only three months. So for the women that have been in this situation already, can you help answer this? Thank you.

just want for curousity reasons to see how many of you got a full blue line that you couldn't tell the color when it first came out. i have a test from 2 weeks ago that the line came up before 2 minutes but it was faint and you had to look from an angle to see it, which i was sitting so thats how i saw it i wasn't playing with it. but left it there for 2 weeks and it's full fledge blue line. i did go to the doctor for a blood test and i have to wait a couple days but i just wanted for curousity to know your stories. well and because i'm nervous about my test!

Late January, I've asked if there's a possibility of me being pregnant because I had a weird feeling that I am, weight gain, nauseousness, and some other early symptoms. I did my HPT Feb it turns out negative. Hence, come early March it's already positive. What I don't understand is why did I have those symptoms as early as January and based on my ultrasound i got pregnant January and not December. I still can't believe I'm at early age of pregnancy and still thinks that I might give birth earlier than predicted. Can anyone help erase this thought or is it really possible that I'm more pregnant than what it appears.

We are having doubts about who the father of this baby is since we know down to a few days when the baby "had to be conceived." If it's not possible, then we know who the father isn't. The baby was 7 lbs 20" at birth. I think we know the answer but........ thanks!

My boyfriends sister is 3 months pregnant and his sister in law just found out she is pregnant. All of my friends have babies and I am the only one with out. I don't really want to be pregnant because I want to be married first and atleast have my AA degree but I am jealous of them. How do I act happy for them? They will be having the babies around the holidays and I have a feeling its going to depress me because my boyfriend of 4 years still has not asked me to marry him and I just feel like my life isn't really moving forward beside school. I have always dreamed of being married and having kids and it just seems so far away for me. Someone please give me some good advice.
