I know it's very normal to lose hair after giving birth, but for how long? My youngest is nearly 2 and I am having to clean out my shower drain 2 and 3 times a week because I am losing so much here. It's gotten to the point that I'm thinking it may be thyroid problems due to the hair loss as well as other symptoms. What do you think?

Have yur thyroid checked. It is a simple blood test.. Hair loss, fatigue, mood swings, weight change, are all symptoms.

Ugh, I hit the 3 month post partum mark a couple weeks ago and it started coming out by the handful. I think 2 years is a bit extreme though. After my son was bor 3.5 years ago I went through the same thing but I think it only lasted for a couple of months.
