Late January, I've asked if there's a possibility of me being pregnant because I had a weird feeling that I am, weight gain, nauseousness, and some other early symptoms. I did my HPT Feb it turns out negative. Hence, come early March it's already positive. What I don't understand is why did I have those symptoms as early as January and based on my ultrasound i got pregnant January and not December. I still can't believe I'm at early age of pregnancy and still thinks that I might give birth earlier than predicted. Can anyone help erase this thought or is it really possible that I'm more pregnant than what it appears.

Not all home preggo tests are created equal. The tests read your HcG levels in your urine and sometimes the tests are not able to pick up a weak level of hormone. The same thing happened to me. I was 10 weeks before any test showed up positive even though I had all the symptoms and took about 8 tests.

I had symptoms 2 weeks before I got a positive result on an Hpt or a blood test. I was told that you can get symptoms days after you conceive.....I know it's all confusing...good luck and congrats!!

sounds just like me!!!! in dec i started "feelin" pregnant so i would test and get negatives then jan 5 i got heart burn and was late, i tested and still neg then i tested again jan 11 and got a ++.
my last period was nov 25 so my due date should be sept 1st but the ultrasound said sept 13th . i asked my ob why this is and he had a hard time figuring it out but he thinks i ovulated late and that might have happened to you ... not to sure about the symptoms though

the dr's say you start experiencing syptoms at 7wks i had them way earlier and so did alot of women i know, that may be why you felt them early or you may have been experiencing nervousness at the possibility of being preg. (nervous even if you wanted to get preg or not) as for the test. different test take different levels of hcg to show possitive. so you may just not have had enough hcg yet when you tested in feb. good luck and congrats'

your doctor is probably more accurate, maybe you had the symptons as the egg was planting itself in your womb, maybe like a hormone thing or something.
