When I first found out that I was pregnant with my 3rd boy, I took a home pregnancy test at the daycare I worked at. It was faint. But it was there. So, I went and got a blood test. It was positive. I think I took about 3 more after the first test. They all came out the same.

If you seen a faint line on the test to begin with then congratulations you are going to have a baby.. Most test do become invalid after 10 minutes or so, but you said you seen it within the first to minutes.. So yes I would say you are pregnant.. I know the first test I took this pregnancy was very faint and after a few hours it was really dark.. Evaporation lines shouldnt come in that dark.. Maybe a light blue but not dark like you are describing.....
