I had unprotected sex for a pretty good amount of time. I do NOT feel it is a huge risk but I am not on birth control. Do you think I should take Plan B?

Yes!!!! Birth Control Please!!!!! If you just don't like the hassle of taking a pill every day, try the depo shot. You only take it once every three months ( only 4 times a year ). It is 99% effective. It basically tricks your body into being pregnant and discontinues your periods. THATS RIGHT! NO MORE PERIODS!!!!!! talk to an obgyn and ask for an information packet about the depo shot. ALSO Please use a condom. You don't want some nasty STD do you? Hope I persuaded you.

Are you CRAZY girl !!! You say you do notthink unprotected sex is a very big risk ? Ask my girlfriend and that may change your attitude. I don't mean to be forward, but in today's society that is such a lousy statement. My girl friend now has herpes for LIFE from a person you would never think to be infected with anything. YOU have NO CLUE where your partners have been or with. Just one regretful incident of unprotected sex will affect you for the rest of your born days......which could be sadly shortened depending on what you catch out there. You could also get pregnant. My answer to you is to start using condoms IMMEDIATELY and also get on the pill. You still have NO guarentees against getting an infection or getting pregnant, but you will significant;ly reduce your chances.......This is all common sense girls, where the hell are your brains ?!?!?! Good luck and I will pray for you

Take the pregnancy test. If you are on birth control then I think there isn't anything to worry about, but if you really want to be sure Plan B is fine. I took it, but I never was on any birth control. It worked fine with me. Remember there is a limit of 5 days to take Plan B and if 5 days has passed since the day of the sexual intercourse, I think it is too late to take Plan B. To be sure ask your doctor.

From what I understand if you are going to take this you need to do so within 72 hours of having unprotected sex. Someone once said you can have an IUD put in to stop implantation, but I am not familiar with that.

I don't think that anyone should take plan b. It's not good for your body. Here's a link with some truth about it: http://www.morningafterpill.org

Besides, if you've been having it "for a pretty good amount of time", I'm not sure that you understand how it works.

Having unprotected sex is extremely risky because you could contract a sexual transmissible disease(s) and you could become pregnant. It is better to abstained from sex until marriage because that was the intended purpose why God created sex in the first place.

No. Even if you are pregnant, taking Plan B would still be killing an innocent child. Abortion, no matter how early in a pregnancy is still murder.

Wait to see if you are pregnant. If you are, then consider your options. Adoption is best for all involved if you can't keep your baby.
