I am 38 wks pregnant and have been loosing my plug for a couple wks. Today I have lost LOTS. like I am constantly feeling it in my panties so I check and every time there is more. I am a little crampy like but nothing strong. Is it possible I could start labor soon since I am loosing so much, or could it be weeks.

I had my son 1 wk after loosing the last piece of my plug. The last piece should have a red blood dot in the center. I don't think it should be more that 2 wks after loosing all the plug. good luck

Keep track of how often the cramps come. If they seem regular, then call your doctor right away. Could be you will go into labor early. But you are still over 36 weeks which is the safe time. If the cramps get worse, definitely call your doctor. I"m mom to 3.

I lost my whole plug at once at 37 weeks and 2 hours later I was pushing him out!!!

I have been losing my plug for the past week now with this pregnancy and nothing has happened yet!! So I guess it all depends on the pregnancy.

33 weeks pregnant with twins

Yes that same thing happened to me. I started to bleed alot and started having light cramps that were hardly noticeable. 14 hours later i gave birth to my daughter. I was also 38 weeks.

it sounds like you could be starting labor now because the cramps your having even thou there not strong they can still be contraction. When I had both my kids my contraction the whole time felt like menstrual cramps . Good luck

Sometimes it comes fast, sometimes a little slower. Definatley tell you doctor that it is coming out, and also tell him when it seems to stop, as if the entire plug has been taken out. Letting him know your timeline will help him decided how far you seem to be....
