I am 25weeks and 5days and my belly really isn't that big to begin with because i had a good bit of belly fat before i got pregnant. I notice that when i wake up in the morning, my belly seems to look much smaller than when i went to bed. In the evenings it looks pretty round and it feels tight like my skin is streching, but when i wake up, it's much more loose. Does this happen to anyone else? What is causing this? Should i be worried?

I am right there with you, I am at about 24 weeks. In the morning my belly seems smaller, and I weigh less. By the evening I am popped out and uncomfortable. All the things you ate or activities you did during the day weigh on you and during sleep your body relaxes, digests and such.

Don't worry *unless you are not feeling your babies normal movements by midday. But You know your body best and if you feel something is wrong call your OB

Nothing to worry about at all, You are over the half way mark! Your baby is still pretty small, it won't be until the last couple of months that you will notice the belly is much firmer and protrudes more. When the baby 'drops' it kind of falls down and forward at the same time. This locks his head in position in the birth canal. Gravity contributes to the downward movement and the pressure you will feel is him making his way slowly down the birth canal. This will give you what feels like 'contractions' but they are practicing muscles, getting ready to do their work on that great day. They are called 'Braxton-hicks' contractions and have fooled many new moms into believing they are in labor. But if they aren't rythmic, come from the back and you don't feel the pressure on the top of your belly and the sides ALL at the same time, that is all they are. Just getting ready.
When you sleep at night, you must be sleeping on your back. The baby is settling into that spot and when you get up, it slowly shifts back to the outward position. If you lie on your right side with a pillow between your knees, you will get better circulation for both you and your baby. This will be more crucial in the next couple of months. Drink lots of water, there is an exchange of water in the amniotic sac that goes on all day long. I think it's 8 quarts of water (not that you have to drink that much) but your body cleans and replaces his water regularly.
Here are a couple of links in the Wikipedia so that you can see how this works.

It could be that your baby is just moving around to different areas of your belly

I noticed with my first pregnancy...that when I would lay on my left side, if she was on that side then she'd move over to the right and vice versa(this is also from 5 months into pregnancy until the end) lol...if I was rubbing my belly where she was then she would move again to a different side

With my last pregnancy I noticed in the mornings my belly was very flat like and looked as if I wasn't pregnant at all (and this is from 5 months onwards) then after a couple of hours the little belly would just be popped back out again...so I assume I was carrying the baby in my back until she moved back over to the front

I've always been very skinny...right before and after pregnancy I was and still am 5'7" 115lbs and was very little during my pregnancies too so that's why I could see where the baby was moving by watching my belly aside from the movements we all feel when baby is moving in there

Not something you should really worry about at this point. Gravity pulls everything downward throughout the day, so your belly may appear bigger, and maybe even a little bloated, and go back to normal while you're laying down. It is also true that our body weight fluctuates during the day. If it's something that is causing serious concern for you, it's always best to call your doctor, that's what they are there for. Best of luck to you and your baby!

I wouldn't be worried if I was you. The same thing used to happen to me when I was a little smaller. I would always look larger at night then I would in the morning. Now of course it's hard to say if I'm bigger at night then in the morning because quite honestly I just feel big all the time no matter what lol.

I have heard about this happening quite often with pregnant women. I always hear that the belly seems to really stick out in the evening compared to the morning. If it makes you feel at ease, go to your Dr. I really do think it is ver y common though.
Good Luck

You're probably a little bloated from your activities during the day when you go to bed. At night the bloating goes down and hence the 'flatter' belly in the morning. It happens to me too, I don't think it's anything to worry about.

appears like IBS (irritable bowel syndrome, trapped wind) to me. you're in all probability letting off gas on your sleep. attempt prodding your abdomen next time it comes up back, does it squidge plenty, i.e. its like a balloon not a sack of food or fat? visit a pharmacist and ask for something for IBS. interior the united kingdom, it somewhat is Wind-eze, in Germany there is Lefax (plenty greater effective). the terrific incorporate simeticone, yet Lefax additionally includes peppermint oil which tastes advantageous and helps with it. I used to discover, purely chunk 2 and the gas replaced into silently, painlessly, lengthy previous in like 2 hours. My relatives are all greens, and greens oftentimes get greater wind simply by fact we've greater carbs and our digestion works swifter. We continuously use those issues if we've issues, and my abdomen disappears in one day. :) BTW, weight loss application smart, heading off wheat can help plenty. My mum says dairy does it for her, i'm vegan now so won't be able to assert approximately milk as i don't have it besides yet i don't undergo in concepts dairy doing it, yet egg replaced into unfavorable.
