Sometimes the baby is up front- others, the baby is towards your back. It will definitely stop at 5-6 months when the baby is too big to have an option anymore.

How far along are you? On the days you look larger maybe your baby is in a certain position that's making your belly stick out. That actually happened to me with my son. He moved so much and early on (like around 20 weeks) when I first started feeling him move, my stomach would either be bigger one day or smaller another or even kind of lopsided haha.

I am that way some days and always smaller in the mornings it depends on how much you eat and drink some days you may eat more and when your stomach expands it pushes everything inside a little more. If your baby is already a couple pounds he or she may be big enough to effect you with the position they are in. But if you pay attention the days you eat and drink more the more you will show.

It's not in your head I think this happens to most pregnant women! Every morning my mom tells me I hardly look pregnant and in the evenings I'm way out there! LOL It's funny. Probably has to do with water. Good luck!

I am 5 months and I am having the same things happen. On days when the baby is balled up and kicking I show more. Today he / she is streached out and I am not showing much but I can feel the baby move everywhere.

Yep, it happens to everyone. Even now, at 31 weeks, there are days when he sticks out front more than others. I'm sure water retention and what we eat affects it somewhat too.

Hi, yes I am eight weeks and even though I shouldnt be showing some days my belly just wants to stick out, I think its flatter in the morning too. i t probably has to do with water retention and if you just ate, just another weird thing with pregnancy

I think you're right...it has to do w/ water & even if you're constipated. The days I'm bloated & Constipated I show A LOT more...plus if I'm wearing my maternity clothes I show more....It's like those clothes KNOW how to make you look pregnant! *LOL*

NO, I think it depends on the position the baby is in. Your child is in constant motion and depending on his position, it may make you look larger. Good luck with you baby.
