Okay my daughter could be pregnant, of course she didn't keep good track of her cycle. But we know that she has not had her cycle in at least 4 weeks. I have given her several pregnancy tests and we can't get in to the doctor for a couple of weeks. Could we have 7 tests show a definite negative and her still be pregnant?

Yes if it is too soon..However you said she hasn't had a period in about 4 weeks, she should be able to get an accurate result by now..Tell her to wait til she goes to the doctor or take another one in 1-2 weeks..
Keep in mind that missed periods doesn't always mean pregnancy..I went without a period for a year when i was 19 with no probable cause as to why.
Finally i stopped worrying ect and i got my period..
Tell her to just relax, stop thinking about periods, pregnancy ect and be stress free

yes, if the pregnancy isn't very far along. Does she know when the last time she had unprotected sex was? if so, test 14 days from that date and a home pregnancy test should be accurate at that time. If it's been more than 14 days and you are still getting a negative, then most likely she is not pregnant. It's always best to test with the first urine of the morning.

Yeah, I had 4 tests tell me negative when I was pregnant. It depends on the brand of test and how much of the pregnancy hormone she's producing. Different tests have different sensitivities. The test I finally got the positive with was First Response, but by the time I got that I was about a month pregnant.

It does happen...happened to a friend of mine. The test only showed up as positive after being 3 weeks late with her period. My own pregnancy did not show up positive till a week after my missed period. But, after 7 tests...is she taking one daily or several in a day? The best way is to take the first urine of the day as it is the most concentrated one. Best of luck.

Very doubtful. Home pregnancy tests are pretty accurate. It would be more likely to have a false positive than a false negative.

She could and then again she could not. There could be other factors such as stress. Might want to take her to Planned Parenthood for a blood test to find out for sure. Good luck!
