okay heres my question, why is it that people who have to get government help are looked down on? i mean, if a girl gets raped and pregnant because of it, and shes trying to find work but cant seem to get hired, should she have to deal with people looking down on her? I am pregnant with my second child (first one is 3 now) and it wasnt just a "reckless sex" accident. if i was raped and pregnant, and i dont agree with abortion, why should people say, its my tax money paying for you, blah blah blah if they dont even know whats going on? ive heard that already more than once in a few diferent answers on here. and im just wondering....what yall think of it? am i really that wrong? or am i paranoid or what?

I put daughter up for adoption 18 years ago. She was the product of a rape, so I didn't do it for selfish reason. Now that she is 18 I really would like to meet her. She was born in Pell City, Alabama on Nov. 15th 1988. She was raised in Birmingham, Alabama

I was with a guy in September, no sexual intercourse took place but we did "fool around". I have had 3 periods since that day. My cycles range from 28 - 30 days, and my period is 4 days late from the 28 days cycle, and 2 days late from the 30 day cycle.

My breasts are hurting a lot, my legs are cramping up, tiredness, and my stomach is upset. I can't go get a HPT because my parents will find out and I just rather die than have to do that - please understand (cultural differences). This has been disturbing me in my sleep...I don't know where else to turn to.

Does anybody know any good resources for baby names? I really want to name my baby King, but that maybe a little much. Why "King"? I just like how it sounds; what it means; and I want my kid to have a certain outlook as well.

Women play a very big role by giving birth to children. However the period starting from becoming pregnant to giving birth of the child to taking care the child till (s)he grows a little is long. Moreover once a child is born, some time must be spent after her/him daily. How can a woman who is engaged in higher studies, say research, can do justice to both family and studies or professional life? Are there women who would not like to give birth to child fearing that would lead to spending too much time and energy from her professional activities?(second question is just out of curiosity.)

Been married 5 years and am thinking of having a baby in the next year or so. Both my husband and I are very happy and ready, but I have a feeling that I will be doing all the "baby work" on my own, which will piss me off and might cause me to resent my husband since it's likely that he will be working full time.

Any advice on how to prepare for something like this?

I am 36 and getting re-married. I have 2 girls from a previous marriage (14 and 10) and I have this over whelming desire at times to have another baby. I find my self watching all the baby birthing shows on the discovery channel, I find EVERY baby in a store and talk to them and to top it off the man I am marrying does not have any children of his own. On the other hand, I look at how our lives are now and it is soooo easy with the girls being older and it would dratically change everything and that is when I think it is just my biological clock ticking and I am crazy for thinking of another baby. I also think of my age and his age (he is 40) and think we are just too old to bring another child into the world. What do you think?

My fiance and I have been together for quite awhile. I am pregnant by him. We are staying with his mom and step-dad until we can get our own place. He has another kid by someone he hardly knows (it was a one night stand and she just so happen to get pregnant by him) I don't mind the kid, I accept that. But my fiance's mom invited Alex (his son) and his mom to spend the night last night, knowing that I had to go to school today and she would be all alone with my fiance. He doesn't want her around either, he can't stand her. He has explained this to his mom NUMEROUS times. So instead of staying at home this morning my fiance got up early and went and stayed at his aunt's until he had to go to work. Should he have to be booted out of the place where he stays because his mom has invited her over? Am I wrong for being upset? What would you do? please help.!. because now, I feel like never speaking to his mother again.

I had unprotected sex the day after my period ended. What are the chances that I could get pregnant. From my understanding, they're pretty slim, but I just want to make sure.
