well i am pregnant right now and i really want the dad in the child's life cause i think its very important for a child to have a dad figure in there life. and i am due jan 18 and i have no contact with him since i told him i was pregnant by him?

She's 3 going on 13 ... she spit a sprout out because it had a speck of sauce from the pie on it ... i told her it wouldn't kill her and she said she would not eat it (she has no problem with the sprouts, it was the sauce).
Next thing she jumps off her chair and stops in her steps for a little while after i said that leaving the table means the end of dinner. She carries on and leaves the table. The rest of dinner goes in the bin. She comes back 3 minutes later and is rather shocked that this time her dinner IS gone (it's a daily battle).
She didn't get her after dinner treat either and she took that gracefully.
Now it's bedtime and she wants a rice cake and water. The rice cake at bed time is a comfort thing.
Not that i want to take her comfort away but does she deserve a ricecake after being an obstinate rabbit-throwing (soft-toy breed) toddler.
PS. i'm in a -enough is enough - mood and daddy wants to give her the rice cake. What do you think?

If so, if you have seen them, how have they turned out? Are they homeless, prostitutes, pregnant with no job or what?
cause im in high school and almost all the girls in school are pregnant and kiss every boy they see. its just filthy no wonder they get pregnant with no fathers and h.i.v!!!

or cup.. i've tried many different teats,bottles, cups and tried starving her. any suggestions as to how i can get her to take it i want to stop brest feeding her but not until i'm sure she'll take it from bottle/cup

We got pregant totally by accident and at first he was thrilled but neither of us had ever wanted children. Then we were so happy but then I had a miscarrage. After that I wanted a baby so badly I wanted to try and have one on perpous and he was totaly against it. He makes me take birthcontrol and pulls out. This has been going on for a few months then I told him I think it was just the hormones and now I'm normal and don't want a babies anymore. So yesterday he calles and tells me that he doesnt' want to be alone when we are older and he wants to have someone to visit us and give us grandchildren to spoil. So now he wants a baby. I'm so confused what should I do?

I was planning on buying my daughter a new TV game called Digi Makeover for Christmas because I think it would be something her and friends would really enjoy especially during sleepovers. Every store was sold out so I went on ebay and I was disgusted to see that MANY people were selling the game for 2x as much as it was going for in stores. That means that people that had no intention of using the game made it sold out everywhere just to sell it to those of us who really wanted to use it. That kinda irritates me... but it got me thinking. How many parents would pay double for a something their child wanted for Christmas or how many would wait for another month for it to be back in stores? I plan on waiting since her birthday is in February but even it wasnt I refuse to pay $120 for a $50 game. How about you?

I'm 10 weeks pregnant, and single. Now, before all of you go and say, "DON'T DATE OTHERS, BE WITH THE FATHER!!" we have both decided that it's better for the child to not be together so our child is not raised in a home with battling parents. I'm going out on a blind date tonight, and I don't know if it's appropriate to tell him that I'm pregnant on the first date, or if i should wait and see where it all goes. A few days ago I had posted a question about my breast leaking fluid, and also mentioned that I was having alot of lower back pain, sore breast to the touch. This morning I use my first morning's urine, and took a pregnancy test. As soon as the urine swiped across the window screen of the test it showed the dark pink line, and then when the urine hit the C side a white line came up all of a sudden. I looked at the test in the allowed amount of time, and did see a faint white. I have had two kids, but did not experience the leaking breat this early on. What are your thoughts on it??

When I had my daughter 3 1/2 yrs ago my mother in law walked into the room when she got there, took my daughter from me and didn't even speak to me. She put on a big show like she was a wonderful grandma. She has probably seen my child 6 times in her entire life. Now I am 28 1/2 week along with our second child. She knows that I've had complications and thought I was going to loose the baby yet she hasnt called since I was 8 wks along. This morning she had the nerve to text my husband and misspell my name saying to tell me she loves me and needs our address to mail our christmas card. First off we have lived there three years(she should have the address) second last year she sent a card saying "I hope the two of you have a Merry Christmas" I still havent figured out which of us was excluded from that considering there were three of us last year. And third if she is so worried about how we are she could come by or pick up the phone and call. She onlly lives 45 min away.

Looking for a logical answer, I will ignore any answers with religious influence or the ones that are too subjective or based only on instincts (I consider that WE have also a thing to say about it...)

I'm not interested in MY happiness (I don't want to have a child because it makes me feel better...)
I could asume responsability, and put in a lot of effort in offering 'my' child anything that is good.
I don't mean that I don't want a child OR that I want one.
But do you know WHY to have? Do you think of her/his happiness and do you have a guarantee for what you think ... you might be wrong as well.

I'm trying very hard to understand, the reason for which people have children. There must be a very good explanation for why are we in CHARGE to take the decision for a new life.

Are we having children just because ...
