I think the name is just fine. If you want to name your child Clark, go for it. Superman is obviously a first thought for many people, including myself. With all the popularity Superman has achieved in the past handful of years, I believe Clark will become a more common name than it is right now. I also knew some named Clark while I was in highschool. He really didn't take any teasing for it.

It is an OK name, I really have never known anyone named clark. It sounds like more of a last name to me.

Well I once knew a hot guy named Clark and I always thought the name NEVER fit him. What a weird name to name your kid, you can group it with names like Hollis and Hardy. It is a total nerd name!

In this day and age........ANYTHING is used as a baby name! I am an nurse and I have seen these used as names......Nautica, ObGyn, MrCowboy, MisterMister, Diarrhea ( am SERIOUS) so a name like Clark is FINE so long as his middle name is not BAR.

I like it. Tho, it makes me think of Clark Kent. But I like the name Kent too! :) Both names are normal enough, unique enough, easy to spell...etc.

I think it's nice, but sounds a little old. anyway - if you like it i really dont see how one can pick on it so just go for it!
