This is crap! Why does everyone think that just because you are under 25 that you cant parent a child?? I had my son when I was almost 17.. and I am sick of everyone telling me that because i was so young, i must be a bad mother.. why is this???

My mother's first husband was killed when they were very young in a tragic motorcycle accident. My mother in law has developed a fascination with harley motorcycles. We are expecting our first child, and know from experience with our niece/nephew that she will purchase harley stuff for them. I think that seeing my child in these garments would really upset my mom, plus I don't really like them, either. My husband says it's tacky to tell his mom this. What do you think?

I like the names

GIRL-- Arley, Ainsley, Kait, Layla, Roxy and Belle. He doesn't like any of them!
BOY- Declan, Griffin, Cameron, Thomas, Eli, Jaxon- he doesn't like any of them either!
He likes Eva, and Calvin. He won't budge on names, how do I get him to loosen up about it?! lol
Also, any name suggestions would be appreciated-- I like pretty names for girls, nothing too out there, and strong names for boys, nothing too crazy... thanks

How likely is it for a woman to get pregnant on LOW birth control if the only contact she had with her mate was through two sheets of clothing (pre ejaculation) and a quick bruch against the area near the vagina (several minutes after emission?).

The Department of Health warns against routine use of soy-based infant formulas because of the high content of phytoestrogens - compounds that mimic the action of the female hormone oestrogen. It is feared this could pose a risk to the long-term reproductive health of infants boys/girls i.e severe problems such as abnormal physical development, early puberty, conception, pregnancy, and cancers.
This has been known for several years though not wide public knowledge - infact some GPs still recommend soya as a suitable replacement for a child with milk allergy/intolerance!
Babies are usually allergic to both kinds of milk.

I have seen more questions about periods and bleeding on here than ever. It just makes me wonder why its not taught. It shouldn't be a mistery. Would you want your child asking questions on this forum? What happend to safe sex with condoms?

How much responsibilty should fall on the parents of the these 13, 14, 15 year old girls who are getting pregnant. They do not have minds of their own. If theyskip school the parents are responsible. If they have a party and minors are consuming alcohol in the home the parents are responsible. If your child is a bully or causes excessive disruption in school, you are responsible, they will call in social workers to investigate. So why oh why can't the parents be held responsible in some way for their little girls becoming pregnant.
My 14 year old daughter would never have a screen name like foxxy lady sexy bit@#. Not in this lifetime. Where are the parents and do you think that their should be some level of responsibility placed on the parents?

I mean people seriously have a child fetish in this country!!!!!!!! Only rednecks take procreation as seriously as you guys!!!! Probably lack the education or motivation to make something of yourself in a capitalist society so they settle for a life of breeding. Do you guys live on a farm to need so many kids? However, the business section is the least visited!!!! I guess that goes with the lack of financial literacy in this country. Why is this the most visited section of Yahoo answers?

I took 6 six pg tests last week cuz I was two weeks late. All of them came back positive. I kept retesting cuz I thought how is that possible, but everytime I get a blood test it comes back negative. I just got one yesterday and it was negative. I was having all symptoms of pregnancy, but then they all went away when I thought I had a miscarriage yesterday, excepot the docs say I was never pregnant. How could six tests of different brands from different stores all come back positive just two days before the blood test and if I were pregnant why did I get my period and the cramps. I am so confused on why this happened. I would like to know some ideas on what people think.

Mine, two girls aged 9 and 10 run about the house giggling and screaming just being kids I suppose but I am a quiet person. If one wants to do her homework the other distracts her, we can't all sit and watch a movie together because they constantly giggle and mess about so I end up going into another room for some peace, it's driving me mad especially leading up to Christmas and I end up shouting at them, they completely take over the lounge and I end up sitting in the kitchen.

I am pregnant with my second child. I wanted to say with the tradition of naming my child something was a little different but not too offbeat. I love the name Nadia but I cannot come up with a decent middle name. My last name starts with a B and is two syllables. Any suggestions?

I wa chrsitmas shopping in Bath yesterday when I saw a t shirt which read "I support single mothers" this would have been fine apart from the fact it was written under the image of a naked pole dancer, depicting the "typical" single mother. Women become single paretns for many different reasons and this kind of attitude towards us is degrading and unacceptable. I was outraged, do any of you feel the same way?

I have a teenager daughter and I want to be realistic in my expectations with her. Of coarse as a mother I would like her to focus on studies and meet her prince "The One and Only" when she is in her 20s. But it does not sound realistic. She is a girl mostly within the average of her group, so she probably will "go with the flow". What are the statistics here?

i know in some families everyone wants to be there during delivery and immediately after and the mother never gets a moment alone with the new baby.....which is fine for some people....but i'm thinkin when i have a baby i wouldn't want anyone at the hospital (except my husband).......just wondering if anyone else felt the same and how they told their family not to come to the hospital...
