It isn't good for you anytime. Especially if it has eggs in it. Raw eggs can harbor harmful bacteria. And anything that isn't good is even worse when you're pregnant, because your baby is much more vulnerable than you are. But you probably didn't do any harm with just a little taste.

There are reports that you can contract certain parasites from raw cookie dough. I have never put much stock in this, but I do have a friend who swears her child contracted a parasite from eating raw dough. This might be enough to warrant a visit or a call to your OB/GYN to get his/her opinion.

it's not really good to eat since it has raw egg. You probably won't get sick, but you should try not to do that too often. I can't say that I didn't sneak any cookie dough when I was pregnant... but your conscience gets the best of you! ; )

Raw eggs are not recommended at all during pregnancy, along with cold cuts, hot dogs, soft cheeses, sushi.
Even though raw eggs would generally not cause sickness in a healthy adult, when you are pregnant, your system is much more prone to illness, as is the fetus.

I don't think it's too bad for you - I ate raw cookie dough when I was pregnant with my son. (He just came out almost 10 pounds!)

there is not any reason to place egg in cookie dough if it meant to be eaten uncooked. It provides no flavor in any respect and is in simple terms mandatory in case you opt for to bake the dough. you besides would do no longer would desire to characteristic the leavening(baking soda, baking powder, etc) given which you're no longer baking it. that still provides no flavor and is given which you're baking it. with out the egg and leavening, all you have is sugar, fat, flour and vanilla flavoring. Make up a small batch. It won't harm her in any respect.

If there a raw eggs in there..probably not a great idea. But if think the chance of samonella risk is low, however if you did get it, the risk would be to the baby, that is why it is not advised. Call the dr. if really worried.
