I took 6 six pg tests last week cuz I was two weeks late. All of them came back positive. I kept retesting cuz I thought how is that possible, but everytime I get a blood test it comes back negative. I just got one yesterday and it was negative. I was having all symptoms of pregnancy, but then they all went away when I thought I had a miscarriage yesterday, excepot the docs say I was never pregnant. How could six tests of different brands from different stores all come back positive just two days before the blood test and if I were pregnant why did I get my period and the cramps. I am so confused on why this happened. I would like to know some ideas on what people think.

Well besides the fact that I do indeed want to have a baby, I have had fertility issues. But I'm not on anything for them yet. I know that my bestfriends friend when she was pregnant with her baby it took the doctors two months for the tests to come up positive. But I do not think I am pregnant anymore, because I do believe tyhat the blood tests are more accurate than the home tests, but I am just trying to figure out why they were coming out positive. I time them percisely when doing them. the last one I took was on saturday night and it came out as a faint positive. I mean I have heard it is still possible to be pregnant and have your regular period, as rare as it is, but I dont think I could be that lucky. If it were my hormones or something why isnt my doctor looking into it or not even seemed concerned about it. Because I have seen three doctors to try to get an answer and none of them have one and they don't seem to want to try to find an answer.

Could I have uterus cancer? I read that can give false results. The other reasons do not apply to me. Even If I have ovarian cysts it wouldn't produce a false negative. Or could I have ovarian cancer? I am freaking out. Every woman in my family has had issues with their uterus and such. All of the women had to have early hysterectomy's because of problems, I do not have any children yet and I do not want this happening to me before I have any. Any body have any clue?

well sometimes I have heard that if a women really wants to be pregnant, or believes that they are pregnant, their body will start to creat the pregnancy hormone, and the tests will come out positive. I am sorry for your loss, but keep your hopes up. If you really want a baby it will happen.

To be honest home tests are not always 100% correct...the docs tests are more accurate..i am not totally sure why 6 home tests would come back positive and the docs came back negative...all i do know is that the doctors tests are better

in office blood & urine tests are 10000 times more accurate than at home tests. All i can say is that if you STILL dont believe doctors after they have told you that you're NOT pregnant, take a at home test right when you wake up. Since you're not pregnant, it just may be messed up hormones or whatever...you probably should have talked to your doctor about this when you went in for the blood tests....

To be honest, I find it very confusing too! Blood tests are far more accurate than urine tests. However, the urine tests are 99% accurate. It doesn't make sense that you would have six positive tests with urine, but not be positive in the blood tests. Sorry I can't be more help.

you should do extra tests on your tummy area- i do not know the correct terms- but there are tumors that can grow in your tummy, ovaries, etc and you can have the same symtoms as pregnancy, but you're not. the blood test will give a different result as the urine test because of the different components of each fluid.

The best way is to do an ultrasound. Be quick about it cause these things can grow rapidly- they can be lasered if caught early enogh to avoid actual surgery.

I do not mean to scare you but I know ppl who it happened to.
