The test is from an ovulation predictor test I need to know if that looks like a positive result or a negative result

THIS IS NOT A PREGNANCY TEST IT IS AN OVULATION PREDICTOR TEST. I TOOK IT TODAY AND I AM SUPPOSED TO START TOMORROW SO I AM A BIT CONFUSED AS TO WHAT THIS COULD MEAN THAT IS WHY I WANTED TO ASK YOU ALL TO SEE IF YOU THOUGHT THE SAME AS I DID THAT THE OPK WAS POSITIVE

I'd say you're close. When I was TTC and using opk's I never actually got a positive result according to the directions, but I did notice a peak the first month, and that's what you're actually looking for, is a peak in the hormones. I must not have used the kits at the right time the last month because I never got close to a positive result but I'm 29 weeks now. Good luck.

Congratulations!! That is a positive!! :)
If you are unsure wait a couple more days and test again.
The first HPT test I took the second line was faint, but it was there... Tested again 3 days later and the got a definite positive!!
Everyone told me that if there is any hormone pregnancy in your body the line will show up. And it won't show up if it's not there... And you have a much higher change of getting a false negative than an false positive!

I would say you are close to ovulation. They say the 2nd line should be as dark or darker than the control line. I had a hard time telling which was which by your pic...as one is lighter than the other. If the darkest line is the control line, I would say you are close, if the darkest line is the "test" line, I would say...get busy! :-)

in my past experience with those damn things. They are more confusing than anything. I gave up 2 months ago on those things and relied on mucus only, i'm pregnant found out last week. don't stress over those things I personally think that they are a waste of money. Just get to know and understand your body and ovulation.

I've always understood it to be that any line even the faintest of lines indicates a positive. Becasuse the hormone or what ever it is is present in your system and would not produce a result if it were not.
