That would partially depend upon your age, the age of the child(ren) your sitting, your experience level, and length of time you would be sitting for. It could be from $10.00 per hour or higher, depending on all factors.

I guess it really depends on where you are.
My one baby sitter charges $3 an hour for three kids ages 1, 3 and 11. But most of the time they are sleeping and the oldest does not need much watching. My most expensive sitter charges $5 an hour. I think that it really depends on what they are doing. If they are just sitting in you house watching TV all night then it is not worth paying a lot.
I would say that fair would be $2 or $3 for the first kid and a $1 for each additional.

Depends on the area you live in. As a Day Care provider, I can tell you it's a lot! Especially if you've taken the Babysitter type courses through the Red Cross, and know CPR.
In most areas, it's about four dollars per child, I think. But like I said, it depends on your amount of experience, whether or not you're CPR certified, and the cost of living in your area.

it depends on the age of the kids. if the kid is older and can do more for his or her self like my son is 7 and i pay 60 a wk child care for him. for 40s a wk. and my daughter who is 2 have to pay 75 a wk for 40 hrs.and when my new baby gets here if i decide to work will be charged 90 a wk for her. so it really depends. but if its not a day care then the most id pay is 10 a day for 1 kid. where is every one from? i live in indiana and child care isnt that high. 4 an hr for an 8 hr day thats high for here in indiana.

It depends on the amount of children the age and the age of the sitter. But if you are asking a friends daughter to watch the kids on a friday night I would say $10 an hour.

10 dollars an hour is what I've been told by various people. If you're serious about getting a lot of jobs and making the better money, I would also recommend taking a childcare course and getting CPR certified. Parents will feel much more comfortable about hiring you.

ten dollars is too much. I am a certified babysitter. I usually charge 3 dollars per child, although people give me five per child. Sometimes they'll give me 5 for all three kids or both kids...and i don't like that. Don't underpay! It's the only means of pay we get!

It depends on the age of the child and how many children you are responsible for. Also how long do you intend to be expected to baby sit; 1hr, 4hr,all night ,etc.It also depends on you age and experience.( I would say $6--$25/hr.)depending on the situation and above mentioned factors
