I had unprotected sex the day after my period ended. What are the chances that I could get pregnant. From my understanding, they're pretty slim, but I just want to make sure.

Depends on the length of your cycle. You could ovulate the day or two after your period ends if you have a 21 to 25 day cycle. Also, remember, the sperm lives inside the body for up to 5 days, and the egg lasts for up to 2. So, if you ovulated anywhere from day 6 to day 11 of this cycle (meaning your entire period cycle is 20 to 25 days long), you could have gotten pregnant.
I agree with everyone else, the chances are slim...however, you are much more fertile before you ovulate than after. If need to use birth control on any days that are not "dry" or infertile days.

the chances are pretty slim, but if you are to worry then you can go to the doctor and get the plan B pill, every woman cycle is diffrent some ovulate before and after their period, i dont think you are pregnant but you can always buy a preg test at any drug store.

you always have a chance to get pregnant but the changes grow a lot after about 8 to 13 days after the last day of your period... i only know this because i just got my wife pregnant so she has told me lots of things like that

First of all, how old are you?!? If you're asking this question maybe you shouldn't be having sex. Ask your mommy and daddy to explain where babies come from and stop having unprotected sex since there are worse things than getting pregnant eg. AIDS

You never know..... you will just have to wait and see if you get your next period! Make sure to note when you got your period last, so you know what kind of timing you are looking at....

i think they are slim but you should be more careful if you are going to have unprotected sex get yourself on birth control
take responsiblity for your actions! if you think you are mature enough to have sex, BE mature enough!
